God loves you and calls you to repentance. Tomorrow is not a promise, and God does not want you to die in sin; but to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. That is why Jesus Christ (God made Man) died on the cross. You broke the Law, but Christ paid your fine. He suffered in your place, as your Substitute, and rose again after three days, now seated at the right hand of the Father; He is King over all. Yeah those vids are a strange case. I’ve seen them too. Whenever one thing appeared that I didn’t have I would start feeling really worried. Like that you’re supposed to be socially magnetic? I think applying specific traits to being attractive, while sometimes objectively true, is a bit strange. You can get compliments easier as an attractive person, sure, makes sense, but you can also get none and still be hot as hell. Those videos don’t say anything luckily

Maybe they think I’m cringe? Maybe they think I talk too much (not in a negative way) and I always feel like others are better than me, I will never be able to be so confident to be a professional in my field because I’m so insecure about everything

Hi, sorry you feel this way. I'm on a 4 year of university now and going through something similar and here's what I've learned - if you're the only one asking questions and being active, it means the rest of the group is not interestied in educating themselves or being sure their undersranding is correct. It's their own problem and you shouldn't feel emberassed about being a responsible student just because of the others attitude. Most of my groupmates are rude, and the others are just not interested in anything much, and I don't talk to neither of them. I have overheard some gossip about myself, but I didn't do anything about it because don't care what they think of me. In just a few months we will all go our own way and never meet again. I advise you don't let others dim your light and express yourself freely. You cannot control your surroundings but if you be natural you will attract people who like you because of you and those who don't will leave :)

Hey you! If you read this you might have seen one of these kind of videos. TikToks (or Shorts) where teenagers (sometimes also kids) talk about sh, ed ect... Now ik that you shouldnt be ashamed of things like that and it really is important to talk about it. BUT as you may know, many ppl are suicidal nowadays or they sh. I think throughout social media it even got more...popular. yk? Many young ppl see these kind of videos where the ppl talk about sh. It all gets kinda...glorified. Yk what I mean?? I cant explain it that good tbh. But many young ppl who see that kind of stuff over and over again think after that that they're suicidal too. Even tho they're actually perfectly fine. But if you watch these kind of videos every day over and over again you get kinda like...brainwashed? And slowly... its not just harmles thoughts anymore. You suddenly start beeing suicidal. Social media is harmful. Social media is dangerous. It truly poisons our lifes. Im not a youtuber and I'm not good at talking. But i still want to raise awareness. To all the young ppl out there. So I want to ask you for help. Yes, you. The person who is reading this rn. If you are a content creator I beg you, pls make a video about this. If ur not, copy this comment as often as you can. Translate it into different languages. Copy it to other social media platforms. Please. Raise awareness and help the ppl who need it. Stay safe

I think that the problem of self-perception for many people stems from the fact that, of course, they may be liked by many others, but not by those they would like to be attractive to. For confidence of many people, they want to make sure that they have certain someone, who finds them beautiful and appealing. Because a compliment from a boy/girl I don't have feelings for means less to me than a compliment from a boy/girl I love.

I’ve 100% struggled a lot with feeling attractive in my life still to this day. It’s been getting a lot better, though. Sometimes I feel very attractive luckily, but I’m not quite there yet, for what I can sense. I still feel like I need to have more confidence in myself in general and actually acknowledge who I am and the things that bring me so much worth, because when I wrote down my positive traits, personality wise, I realized how many I actually had, but they all felt very irrelevant. Apparently nobody was interested in me (because nobody expressed it to me yet), so I must still be undesirable and just not pretty enough. That’s what my mind told me, at least. Remember that feelings can be deceptive and that your own image of yourself is morphed compared to what others see. What I usually did was overly compare myself to fictional characters that represented pure perfection. Toxic, I know. I still catch myself looking for external validation a lot. I’m especially sensitive to it due to personal experiences I won’t get into that resulted into some trauma. What I will say is that it made me desire love and affection more than anything else. My desperation is what led me down a rabbit hole I never even realized I fell into until 1,5 to 2 years later. I’m starting therapy soon to properly heal instead of trying to do it all by myself, which I did for two years by now. Don’t be like me.

I agree with you when it comes to perception. I am half russian half north african and I live in North Africa. The standards of beauty here are very extreme: very curvy body, luscious hair, plump lips, healthy glowy yet pale skin, the more pale the better. And I am not pale, I do have a curvy body but not extremely curvy and I have a flat chest, I have plump lips but not enough and I am not pale enough. Basically, in all aspects I am lacking a bit. So I am not considered that beautiful here. Cute / Pretty is the best compliments I got so far. But when I traveled overseas, to france, I got a lot of glances and in the 5 days I spent there I got approached by at least 4 guys who asked me for my number. Also when I meet east asian people they always compliment me so much telling me how beautiful and lucky I am to look the way I do . Same for Germans. My German friend says I am the beauty standard in her country. So here you go. I might not be beautiful in my own countries but for others I might even be the beauty standard. This tells you a lot about how important the context is and it makes the concept of beauty seem much less important.

I'm at the opposite side of this: I found my style, I know what kind of make up I like, I have the same hairstyle since 7 years ago, I love watching my body on the mirror. When I think about pretty girls, I like girls with a similar style to me. I had boys tell me I would look prettier with long hair or without glasses, but I don't care about their type, I like me best how I look right now and there are many other boys that also like me like this. Cater to your public, not to some creepy guy who want to turn you into his imaginary ideal girlfriend. I was never super insecure, but I did hate the shape of my jaw and some things like that. I have some scars (in my face too), I have big bones, but I stay in shape, even when I don't exercise, because I'm full eating just once a day and mostly healthy foods. I found my balance, so now I don't notice what I used to dislike when I look in the mirror, because I fixed what I can and accepted what I can't change. Some people have it harder (hormonal imbalances can facilitate breakouts, weight gain, hair loss and other problems), but if you find your lifestyle (activity, diet, cleanliness...) and style (clothes, hairstyle, aesthetics, sometimes make up), you can live happily with your body and mind. List your negatives and sort them in 3 groups: 1) what you can't change is just a feature that makes you 3-dimensional and interesting (thin hair/face shape/height/fat distribution), 2) what you don't want to change is your part of you and your personality (freckles/being loud/curly hair/lazy), 3) what you can and want to change, you have to work on (hair color/difficulty setting boundaries/losing weight/gaining muscle/apologizing too much). There's people who go crazy for skinny people, chubby people, thin blonde hair, wavy black hair, strong or gentle people, dominant or passive people, insanely hot people, approachable cute people, temperamental or go happy people, super smart or nerdy people. You will find your public if you are proud of who you are and know your worth.

Um I believe something misunderstood or I'm not trying to be weird or things but I'm a man and I've felt the same way like even though I brush my hair I look stupid, or even though I change into new clothes I still look pathetic as always or certain things like that. But I like your paper bill demonstration I think it's partly close to the Environnement that you grow up in. And the people that tell you that you are ugly nor attractive or that you're just you.

That's all true, but it's so painful to see that only pretty girls said kinda things. I am also like the name Zoe or ZOE but its pronunciation should be '쥬이' 😁 to make my name as my unique brand. Just like 'Nike', or 'Chanel' lol '조이' or '조', '주이' or '주' is too common. lol + Miss Claire is 김보경 +
