I remember their TV commercials for a hamburger, fries and a soda for 97 cents. The butler delivered a tray to his employer, who held out his hand for the three cents change.

No butler delivered you a tray of food,it’s waiters and, no McDonald’s Ever Had A Car Hop!

@@sonyafox3271 The commercial was set in a mansion, not a McDonald's. The man's butler had picked up the food, and returned to the mansion. This was broadcast, back in the late '60s when their advertising was aimed at adults, not children. Back when they hired mostly retirees who wanted part time work. It was a different time. You don't know what you're talking about.

McDonald's Coke Cola tastes so much better then in a can or bottle! Also McDonald's was a beef place first? Well, that explains the McRib!

Ray Kroc was an a-hole, he basically stole the company from the brothers and then wouldn't let them make a smaller version of a different burger company and just completely screwed them over😡🤬💢!

@Klein E. Agreed, Kroc's actions were controversial and hurtful to the original founders.

Only time I ate there is when fish were 2 for 5 but since they don't do it anymore I don't go there. They are so slow. Burger King right next to them in and out. No half hour wait.

@Vicki Halbeisen 💰 Two for $5 fish deal - those were the days! Do you think McDonald's should bring back the promotion, and what was your favorite part of enjoying their fish sandwiches during that deal? 🍔👀

@@BabbleTop just loved their fish since younger and loved the deal. Should always have the deal at lent time. But they think they have to charge an arm and a leg for their food anymore and I won't wait in line forever for a sandwich. Two lanes and you still wait forever to get your food. Burger King next door they are faster plus they brought snack wraps to their menu. As a diabetic that is a good choice for me. And BK listened to MD fans and gave us a honey mustard one.

I loved knowing the origin of my favorite fast food joints. I have learn how these places were so different. From what I learn from food documentaries on food network and such. Example I never knew the M logo was two golden arches together.

@Kole Larson It's always interesting to learn about the history and origins of our favorite fast food joints! The stories behind these iconic brands often have fascinating and sometimes unexpected details. The McDonald's golden arches, for instance, are a well-known symbol. The two golden arches represent the "M" in McDonald's and are a distinctive part of the brand's identity.

@Ivy Rivera Dark side of the golden arches! Ray Kroc's legacy is indeed controversial. What aspects of his business practices or personal actions do you find most troubling, and how do you think it has shaped the fast-food industry? 😈🍟
