It's sadly realistic that Cassie ended up murdered, since Al was bigger and stronger than her. Emerald Fennell asked her father in law, a retired police officer, how long it takes to strangle someone to death, and he told her two and a half minutes, which is precisely how long the smothering scene lasts for.

The two and a half minutes rule, isnt always the case. Lots of factors come into it but it works for the film 👍👍

Before that dreadful scene I thought her plan was to scare him and leave, only to appear at the wedding and play the video in front of the guests. If her entire goal was to make him kill her, that would explain why she didn't sadate him like the other men, but then again I don't think she wanted to die. If she wanted him conscous so he would suffer, that makes the scene even more tragic.

I love that movie and yes that bittersweet ending was great she knew that would probably happen and that's why she took a safety measure she Avenged her friend and I also love how she got the sweetest revenge on all the people involved with almost no violence and one of them was reformed and she forgave him because he confessed and took accountability because that's what this movie is really about we're all responsible for these problems men and women and we have to take accountability so we can fix these problems to make the world safe for everyone especially women

Bad ending to an otherwise great film in my opinion. Not even frat boys would react to defending an attempted murder that way

While i enjoyed thanksgiving, the twist of patrick dempsey being the villain kinda felt like a rug pull. However, it does become predictable when you realize patrick dempsey being cast in a seemingly "small" role prolly means he's the villain.

@@megatronjenkins2473Hollywood has to take any idea and make its own movie about it... They mostly just remake movies but in cases like "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009 film)" they pushed to have the non-Hollywood version in worse time slots in theater. The swedish(?) version was released while the Hollywood version was in production, both based on a bestseller...

Can someone please write the names of the movies in this video without what was the twist? I don't know why they ruin movies for people like this. They can make timestamps so they don't ruin the movies for those who search for movies with twists. Thank you in advance edit: I managed to gather a couple by hovering with the mouse over the video progress bar, here they are if someone needs them RUN A HAUNTING IN VENICE MISSING OXYGEN SALTBURN ARGYLLE PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN

I'm not sure Emerald Fennell and master of the plot twist belong in the same sentence. Most of what you state is shocking is actually quite basic, especially Saltburn, which is essentially a Talented Mr. Ripley rip-off.

Run and missing are here. 2 movies by same director Searching is better than missing One question, why did the mother cut out the part where he's abusive? Orphan 1st kill shudnt be made. The girl is all grown up
@IAmHavok
5 ай бұрын
Run isn't better than Missing they are both good movies with one having a less obvious twist. The mother took out the stuff of him being abusive because her daughter was head over heels for her father and saw him as a hero so she didn't want to tarnish that for her being so young (the editing and things clearly happened years before the films timeframe).
@nareanmano

@@IAmHavok 1st of all i said searching and not run Secondly, the girl saw her dad as hero because of tat video. If the mom didnt change it, the girl would hav known the truth.
@IAmHavok
5 ай бұрын
@nareanmano I absolutely meant Searching but that's on me. As for the tape, the girl loved her father well before the altering of the tape, the mother came up with the "he was sick and passed" idea because of that. She wasn't a baby for crying out loud so she'd still have fond memories of him and those would be far more likely to stay than the bad ones (which it seems they didn't everything in their power to keep from her anyway judging by both of their actions).
