The ghost train has to be one of the coolest secrets I've seen in a game. As many issues I have with Rockstar's games and how they do business, they have mastered subtle story telling which is a dying art. When most movies and media are dumbed down and in your face Rockstar still continues to drop 100's of cool little stories and secrets in their games and feels no need to draw attention to them or overexplain. I wish more writers followed their lead, not everything needs a deep explanation or even an explanation at all, often the lack of an explanation leads to more intrigue just like with that ghost train. I am fascinated at what the teams idea behind it was.

If you play Fallout 3, go somewhat northwest of Paradise Falls. You should be able to find a line of Pre-War cars on a Pre-War road/highway. If you go to the front most car and turn in the direction the driver was headed, you'll be looking right at downtown DC. There should also be a skeleton hanging out of the front window and a tree down along the road (I can't quite remember and I don't have time to double check myself). This implies that this driver was driving along the road when the first nukes hit DC. The flash instantly made him blind and the shockwave of other bombs caused the tree to fall in the road. Being blind, he hit the tree and was ejected from his vehicle. The drivers behind him may or may not have also been blinded and rear ended the person, causing the line of cars you find. There's nothing to find, no explanation. It just exists. Fallout 4 is full of things like this but for some reason, they have this feeling of being too staged. Fallout 3 however somehow avoids this. It just feels right, like it's supposed to be there.

Secret Number 5: Vetter's Echo This is a guaranteed 3 star Grizzly Bear if you are looking for a perfect pelt. Instead of going up the steps and in the front door, I suggest you approach the back door with a weapon powerful enough to drop the Grizzly in one shot (the Springfield rifle with Express or High Velocity ammo should do the trick). When you approach the back door the bear will exit the cabin to attack you, so you can give yourself a little bit of space and a chance to get a clean shot in, especially if you come at the door from the side. In the Vetter's Echo cabin is a Pipe (Dutch's request), a silver pocket watch (Lenny's request) and two cigarette cards.

@Fizhy regarding Dutch's speech notes, these notes are actually from a speech that he gives at Camp Horseshoe Overlook, which is similar to the Colter speech. It is a random conversation that occurs while Arthur is at camp around midday (available camp members are all looking at Dutch outside his tent), and although the speech is not verbatim, it is close, and includes the monkey part.

Your content of this type and the retrospective-type reviews such as the recent L.A. Noire are a couple examples of what I find most enjoyable to watch, not just from this channel but on the platform as a whole. I've been watching your stuff for a few years now after your channel was recommended after I'd been binging The Strange Man's videos, and you were exceptionally cool as I recall you complementing that channel the proceeding to recommend people check it out. Pretty refreshing to see that sort of attitude when it seems like so many channels just pretend others within their circle don't exist. I'll be honest, I've only just now subbed after all this time because I tend to refrain in doing so with channels who have the more highly produced videos mixed with live streams, etc. I don't exactly feel awesome about it because I always believe the least I can do for anyone who's given me some level of joy through their entertainment is to give them a sub, but my subscription feed became a real clusterfuck and I realized I had mentally tuned out those channels anyway so I decided it best to be a bit more selective. I don't mean to go into my life story here but figured I'd offer an explanation in case you do happen to come across this comment because I've watched a metric fuck ton for your vids and thought I'd offer why it took me so long to sub in case that info might be useful to you, I truly hope this doesn't come off as rude in some way because that isn't my intention. Anyway, I've already typed way too much here, but I guess I'm not one who knows when to shut the fuck up lol. I really appreciate what you do here, your content just comes off as far more interesting than other vids doing something similar for reasons I can't quite explain but know that it isn't even close. You just keep improving I reckon and it's far easier to let complacency set in as I feel some other channels might have done (can't blame them, I'm fucking lazy at times so I get it). I'm tuned in all the way now and can't wait to see you cover different games in this sort of way as I know you probably get fucking sick of RDR2 even if I could hear you go over that game until the end of time haha.

He plays banjo, sings and dances.. He is the morale of the camp.. However, he is subtle in his presence because he appears worthless.. Uncle is a huge part of the story 1 and 2!! I'm binge watching all of your Red Dead Redemption 2 videos, excellent videos! Also, I like that you revisit them just in case you missed something. Not many do that. :)

Secret 4: When you drink from the witches cauldron, you wake up with full health, stamina, and dead eye. Secret 7: Inside the Viking tomb there is an Ancient Comb to collect. It it located on a shelf underneath 4 skulls, which you need to shoot to move them out of the way.

Dutch's speech being written down and seemingly rehearsed makes his passionate speech at the beginning a little bit less genuine and from the heart. Maybe he had to find a way to put what he was feeling into words, but there's also a good chance he wrote it far earlier and expected people to die or get arrested during the Blackwater job.

dutch is... let’s just say, heavily inspired by evelyn miller. he reworks his quotes a lot. so apparently not even his original drafts for speeches are all that genuine because half of that was just stuff he regurgitated from his favorite author

Dutch gives that written speech randomly at some point in Ch2. Also, at night at least, that witches hut has a Raven that watches you and won't leave. And that viking tomb has an ancient comb worth $50 next to the helmet.

The cool thing about the Viking tomb is that Annesburg was inspired by a lot of rail/industrial towns like in the Midwest and Pittsburgh. The Midwest had a large Scandinavian population so it is a nice easter egg
