I hurt my rotator cuff in my left shoulder around a year ago, and didn’t get it treated until 6-7 months after the initial injury. PT took a long time! Now, I did something in my right shoulder. Probably shouldn’t have tried doing that backflip, lol. I’m glad I see that I need this help easy on, though, rather than waiting months. The symptoms are the exact same, but there isn’t as much pain as there was before. Still a lot, though! Thanks for the help my man. This is all what I did in PT, but it’s good to refresh.

I got a corticosteroid shot (2nd one) in my shoulder again and will try these exercises this go around, and prevent overuse of my biceps and shoulder. I read one article that gave some rules to follow once you have a damaged bicep or shoulder; Don't overreach with tasks or weights---the more you move that elbow away from your body with weight or to get weighted items you are causing more stress against that injury - Example: in the car and you reach back to get your purse in the back seat or an item.....ouch! You reach in the cabinet and pick up that heavy plate with that extended arm. If it HURTS or PAIN do not do these tasks. I like these exercises and will gradually apply them and wear a support strap that reminds me to not overreach. I am not advertising here, but the support strap I like is "Sparthos Shoulder Brace - Support and Compression Sleeve for Torn Rotator Cuff" because I can add an ice pack or a warm compression to the area and it is not a bad price. I even sleep it in.

Your clip did help me with what I believe is my rotor cuff pain. I was tripped and fell, snapping off my elbow (olecranon). After getting, what I call the ladle implants (that cupped piece of metal with all the screws securing my elbow back to my arm), I had a lot of pain in my shoulder. My elbow is doing great now. My shoulder is not and I am trying some of your suggestions.

I am going to tomorrow to see what the results are. I was in a lot of pain but now I am feeling much better but I have lost my range of motion in my right arm. I hope I don't need surgery. If you have a barbell you can set one end against a wall, stand behind the other end and row up. This is very similar motion to the resisted row exercise in the video but be careful as its more resistance due to the weight of the barbell.

I reccomend that people try and twist their fist in whatever direction makes them feel pain and tightness while doing any and all of these exercises. I find if you are doing an exercise that does NOT challenge you where you feel the pain, then it's mostly useless.

I've a dislocated left shoulder which has popped out several times in my life. I thought I would check these videos out. Upon examining the first move "Pendulum" which looked dangerous for my condition. Albeit, i gave it the babiest attempt in barely a micro circle and I could feel my arm wanting to come out of the socket. Strong avoid for anyone with dislocated shoulders. I definitely need other movements to strengthen it but surgery may be the only way. Further examinations needed

I’m not sure it’s a tear I have in my left shoulder but when sleeping on that side and then try to roll off it to the other side it kills. The first exercise is great when my arm is travelling in clockwise direction but in ccw direction there is some pain and a little “crunchiness” in the shoulder. Raising my arms above my head is no trouble but reaching around my back with the back of my hand on the small of my back is painful and there is very little mobility. I have to lean forward a bit to do this. Lifting my arms straight out to the side is also painful until my shoulders are really warmed up. It almost feels like the pain comes down into the humerus bone but in itself is not injured I wouldn’t think. I’ve noticed that leaning on my elbows on the table when reading etc is hurting. Maybe that’s how it all started, not sure. Great video, new sub👍

I've been doing these exercises for over 6 months. I only do them once a day though. It's helped but every time I lift anything heavy I feel like I'm tearing my rotator again. My orthopedist and doctor don't say much when I tell them that lol.

Start with 4-5 of them and as they become easier, you can progress them with resistance or add some of the more difficult ones. You can also mix them up! The biggest thing is to be consistent with some focused exercises. You can even break them up into two groups if you want and perform different exercises on alternating days as a small rest.

Question, I have a rare case sometimes where in either my left or right armor. It feels like my shoulder joint dislocated or something. Is this a Rotator Cuff? It rarely happens or sometimes it might happen if i do something like stretching with my arms over my head or doing jumping jacks. I think swimming would even cause the pain too although i don't swim. It hasn't happened in awhile but i gotten to the point in my life when I know i might cause pain as I can feel it before it happens and I stop and relax a bit so it doesn't happen in that should i am about to feel it in. When I do get the pain in either shoulder, it hurts so much that I have to lay on my back for it to go away
