Tell nobody about your personal problems, don't say anything to anyone, they can only use it against you. A great book on this subject is THE 48 LAWS OF POWER by Robert Greene. Pimpishone 24 hours x 60 minutes (not assuming you sleep) 500 pushups + 400 sit ups = 900 bits of exercise 1440 minutes in a day / 900 bits of exercise = 1.6 Pushups or sit ups every minute. Again, not including your sleep. Lets lower it down to 24 hours - 8 sleeping hours. 16h x 60m = 960m / 900 = 1 pushup or situp every minute. Yeah okay buddy lol.

Janelle Niles Let me tell you this: in the past I thought I would never be able to run a mile, let alone 5 or 10 but I realized that I wasn't able to do it because my mind held me down. Our bodies are capable of training hard and running for hours, only our minds are hindering us. Since that realization I just kept telling myself over and over again. And guess who joined the army and can easily run 5 or even 10 miles now? You can do it too!

Prior Service AF Vet here....I may try Army at age 37. Any thoughts besides the obvious age factor?

Vo Uub It's going to be shocking being bossed around by sergeants over ten years younger than you are. And with the age, I don't care what good of shape you're in, the ruck marches and the constantly daily group PT (which includes ruck marches and even running with logs) are going to tear down your body. You can do Army reserves or guard, but you might really want to think twice about doing Army on active duty, especially at that age.

Hey I have a question. I have been interested in joining the army. Can I leave after a few years or is it for life until you like, break a limb or something? You seem to say you can leave but people say you can't. Idk.

My plan is to join the army when I graduate high school, I’m not too good with exercises like I’m bad at running and I don’t have much upper body strength, what should I do to help me get better with both and when do u think I should start? It’s ok if U don’t really know I was just wondering

Push ups, dips and if you run in your neighborhood you can try running from pole to pole. Example run the distance from 1 light pole to the next then walk 2 light poles Hope that helps.

You mentioned rank? What does that mean? How many ranks are there? And in order to be a top rank does that mean like 1st place out of all the others or rank like I’m passing everything and I’m getting to the next level then the next and so on

Yea don't lie about it. It will only hurt you in the long run. If you get fed food with gluten and something happens, you'll get medically discharged and you just ended up wasting your time as well as the Army's. Also if this medical problem of yours is in your medical records, something happens, and they search your records to find it is a condition you had before the Army and you didn't tell them about it, then not only will you get discharged but you could get in trouble for it.
