I agree with all of that. However, I wouldn't be so fast with walking away. In the past I've made really good friends with a woman because either she or I were upfront and said we just wanted to be friends and the other accepted it. The relationship helped with business, school, and even with her helping me with other women. No wingman better than a wingwoman. Trust me. Also, walking away seems kind of selfish. It's almost communicating "you have little value outside romantic pursuit". Of course, when let's just be friends is actually just a nice way to say I want nothing to do with you, then for sure move on.
@JoiCarlaBodyBar

Just be nice. Use Assertiveness with caution. If you mixed the two together, a WOMAN will know where you stand as a man. However, if you're "kind" you're not going to get too far with a potential, but if you're truly a nice person (Who she's attracted to), you in fact will go far with the potential. Females don't want to hear a man say no all the time (Major turnoff). Be available for her NO matter what, where, and who your with, be available for her. Remember, in the end The Nice Guy does win! Not the kind one (once in the blue when she's desperate). Trust me, I'm a true female.

I used to be the stereotypical "nice guy" in my teens-early twenties. I tried way too hard to be nice, I never said no. I actually believed, when girls said..."Oh, but you're a really nice guy!" they were complimenting me. Haha...how very very very wrong I was! Looking back, I was embarrassingly "nice!" When I think of some of the things I did to TRY to win a girl's heart...omg CRINGE! I've been through a lot in life, and it's totally hardened me up. I haven't been, nor will I ever be, that pathetic "nice guy" again. I'm kind, but the "nice guy" left the building long ago. Guys, trust me, you NEVER wanna hear a girl tell you what a "nice guy" you are, it's the kiss-of-death!

That was me about 20 years ago. Being nice and getting taken advantage of all the time in the workplace. Fellas, never worry about being liked. I learned that the hard way in college. I had a girl that I liked, we hit it off very well in the beginning. She kinda had a feeling I liked her and used that to her advantage. I made myself too too available to her - legitimately at her beck and call. One day, I decided to ask her out and she replied with “I’m sorry. I don’t look at you like that. You’re like a brother to me.” That hurt, I’m not even going to lie. I had a talk with a good friend and he told me the truth: I was acting like a pushover. So, I just took that & focused on myself for a bit - polishing myself. I took up some hobbies and actually became the Vice President of my university’s African Student Association, which took a lot of my time. One day, I run into this girl on my way to a student congress meeting. She stopped and gave me a warm, long hug and asked if I could drive her to the mall so she could buy a new outfit. I knew it was for her meeting a guy but, I didn’t really care. I replied to her, “No, I have somewhere important to be.” She asked me if I could drive her after I was done. I replied again, “Nah, I”ll be tired trying to prepare for a student event.” I’m saying this to her as I’m walking away. Y’all should’ve seen the look on her face, like I stole from her or something. Complete shock like “this guy really said no to ME?!?!?” Fast forward a couple of weeks later and I’m vibing with another female who actually liked me on a serious level. I ask her what it was she liked about me. She said, “I see you’re a guy who has things going for himself. I’ve been watching you as the VP of the African student club and I love the leadership and assertiveness you possess.” All in all, just be yourself. Take care of yourself. Have an upstanding aura about you....and learn to say no occasionally.

The distinction between "nice" and "kind" is a very nuanced argument, but is an important one. Just this concept alone (#10 on this list) can be life altering.

There is some big rewards for being the nice guy... Most people will always be there for you and protect you. Be it because they just deeply like you or they are protecting an asset to them or whatever the case you get a lot of protection. Also the the direct more assertive to the point guy might get more instant rewards and gratification however they are usually the first on the brutal chopping block of life so to speak. Also being the nice guy saved my life on more than one occasion while the other not so nice guy didnt survive. A story I cant talk about on here but take my word.

This is an excellent, excellent video! I wish I had this information when I was in my 20's. I'm going to pass this on to a few friends who need it. Keep up the great work Jeff!

You got it right: you have to keep yourself in demand. You have to keep a little mystery about yourself. Don't always be available. This is accomplished by developing relationships and friendships with others so you don't come across as someone who's always alone and needy. It also helps if you develop interests and passions in skills and hobbies that will occupy your time. This will allow you to keep your focus on other things and not be focused soley on her. Try to avoid coming across as a puppy dog; jumping at her feet all the time.

I'll add a couple things.... You can be nice and everybody will like you.... But not many people will want you. Be stylish but know that being too stylish may turn off some women by activating their insecurities. When I really started coming into my own and being confident in expressing myself through the way I groomed and dressed I went through a dry spell. Finally had someone tell me that women don't like it when you dress better than them. That takes me to my last point, once you start to figure out who you are and live in your purpose on purpose you will begin to attract the right women. Realizing this almost tempted me from getting married lol. Finally hit that point in my man hold where my maturity, experience, confidence, self awareness, and amenities (income, housing, transportation) were hitting optimal levels. That's when I got to the point I could tell who I liked, who likes me and who I should pursue. I learned that I was marketing myself to all women when I should be going after my demographic or better yet putting myself in position for them to come to me.

I've literally laughed in the faces of women who've tried to "buddy" or "brother" me. LOL!! I've thanked them for letting me know early that this was going nowhere and kept it pushing. HAHAHA!! Rejection is part of the game and it's a guarantee when you're single. You're not going to float everyone's boat. What has worked for me is to be nice enough to endear yourself to them and mysterious enough to keep them interested. Before you know it they'll be calling you and texting you to see what you're doing and what you've got going on.

You mention it here but at 58 the one thing I’ve learned is it’s better to attract than to chase. You’ll still have to chase, but the hunt is much easier when the prey is already predisposed to capture.
