Its so insane here in the US that they are now asking you if you want to tip at Starbucks 😂 Us Americans have started to fight back because its insane that these corporations are wanting us to tip their workers instead of paying them a better wage.

Yes, i have heard about it. You americans suffer the opposite, here ppl want to give less instead of more.

I was born in Fortaleza also, living in the USA for 28 years. We don’t say “farm products”, we say “produce “

Not true that most rentals are with furniture in the USA. What is true is most apartment rentals come with the appliances of refrigerator and stove with oven, many also come with a washer and dryer. But if you rent a house in the USA it usually does not include any eletrodomesticos. Most people do not even want to rent an apartment or house with furniture, because it will be old furniture, that who knows how many previous people used before, did somebody's dog urinate on the sofa, issues like that.

It’s really weird that in Estado-Unidense public schools, we usually get ZERO information about Brazil. Even when folks purposefully choose to take some Latin American Studies courses in college, the focus is almost ALWAYS on Spanish-speaking Latin America. 🤔

Oh yeah, maybe because give access to more countries... but Brazil is a big country and should be shown in schools... it would be nice.

@@brazilian-native I know, right ?!? Our two countries have so much in common: inter-country comparisons are great to get students thinking about culture. Like: ‘Geography and history as a contributing factor to language hegemony.’ Like, in the USA, you can drive for three days consecutively & only need to use English language. And in Brazil, somebody can travel all the way from Porto Alegre to Belém and rely just on português for communication. Other countries ain’t like that: India and South Africa have TONS and TONS of languages. In the United States, kids hardly ever even get to see Zé the Carioca Parrot. 😢 (I love that li’l guy.)
