I thought you was supposed to leave the stone in the oven to avoid drastic temp changes or it will break.

How are you doing frozen food on the baking stone without it cracking and breaking?

I have read in multiple places that you should put your pizza stone in a cold oven and let it heat up gradually so that it doesn't break. Obviously, you have no issues adding the stone to a hot oven. Have you always done it this way? Or do you think it's because your stones are so seasoned...? I just bought my first pizza stone and have only done pizza so far letting the stone heat up in the oven gradually. I'd love to try some of these ideas, so I'm curious what your thoughts are on that.

I've always added them to a hot oven, but maybe it depends on the quality of the stone?

Where did you get your round stone? Mine is much larger and heavy.i just leave it in the oven. Yours looks easy to handle. Love the handles.

Hi Liene. This was a pampered chef stone that I bought about 15 years ago - not sure if they still make them or not!
