Last time Vader was takin serious as a main eventer in WWE, he went on to win the triple crown in AJPW. Also not to nitpick but there is a differance between creative control in a contract and using pull u got from being a top guy or world champ to get your way. Both usually have the same conclusion but when its not written into a contract it really just comes down to the owner or booker not being willing to put down his foot and tell them to go out and do what there told. Bret's gone on record many times to say it didn't matter to him if he lost in Canada. Shawn responded by saying "Thank you for the sentiment, but I will never do the same for you." I guess the biggest difference between Hogan and Michaels is that Hogan's actions generally had negative long-term effects while Michaels' somehow didn't. Kinda bizarre.

Naw Hogan's actions ruined careers but Shawn's actions cost lives.bret wouldn't have gotten hurt, Davey wouldn't have gotten hurt, you could make a list of how Shawn being a prick lead to some truly terrible stuff.

I feel like Steve Austin doesn't get near enough shit for the backstage pull he had. He was just as much of a prima donna as Hogan and HBK were but it seems like people rarely mention it. He also refused to work with Marc Mero, Billy Gunn, and Owen Hart post-neck injury (thought that last one is somewhat justified), and even refused to put over Triple H at Summerslam '99, which was the whole reason they made it a triple threat with Mick Foley so Foley could win and then drop the title to Haitch the next night.

Billy Gunn is also justified, taking in considiration when the two were meant to feud, Billy had already been buried by The Rock. I don't blame Austin for not having any interest in working with him by then.

Owen is self explanatory The Billy Gunn story never made sense since Austin/Gunn used to travel together and Austin had faced him before (and would again in a few months). Which makes Pritchard’s take on it the more believable scenario; Austin didn’t want to roll over him in a nothing match while Gunn was in a program with Rock. Foley was added to Summerslam because Austin tore a ligament in his knee at the end of July - to the point that he missed his entire house show loop in August and was barley on TV. The office didn’t think he would be physically able to work a singles match, so they called Foley, which Foley himself confirmed 22 years ago. As for Mero, he was already dead in the water and being outshined by Sable months before he was supposed to lose his program *_and wife_* to Austin. Probably did himself a favor by taking the power bomb and killing the angle.

Couldn’t agree more. The Rock let Hurricane pin him on live TV. Austin wouldn’t let people who were headed to a championship reign beat him simply because he felt that they weren’t credible. Imagine how his career would’ve gone if none of the notable talent in WWF would’ve done that for him? The only way you build a credible performer is by having them beat credible performers. Hell, Hulk Hogan let Brock Lesnar get the first clean unpaid TV win over him in decades and he’s literally synonymous with abusing creative control.

Absolutely correct Austin abused the hell out of his power. The rock was way more generous to others than Austin.

Gonna guess this list includes: Hulk Hogan, HBK, Lesnar, Cena, Reigns, and Nash.
