Stakeholder engagement is critical to success as a business analyst. Yet often BAs will face challenges getting stakeholders engaged on their projects. They don’t show up to meetings, or don’t provide the input you need to successfully navigate the requirements process.

#4 - Use statements to root out assumptions
#5 - Be quiet and listen
#6 - Use your analysis tools to discover the gaps
#7 - Clarify what you don't understand
#8 - Reflect back what has changed as a result of stakeholder input
#9 - Assign action items
#10 - Be clear when lack of understanding is holding the process up
