EXCELLENT! Tons of techniques explained and demonstrated very well and most importantly, QUICKLY. A lot of tutorials take way too much time with pointless talking. This is by far one of the best videos I've seen, invaluable. Seriously, amazed. So much information crammed into this relatively short video. Thanks so much. You've got another subscriber to your channel.

It should only be used inside of certain tricks like the Chicago Opener, otherwise yeah you run that risk . And don't perform it for Indians because this is called the "Hindu Shuffle Stop Force" for a reason - they actually shuffle like that over there.

Yeah I found that after I started learning magic tricks I was really subconscious about a particular movement or gesture not being fluid enough that they would see it. While this is still partly true (practice makes perfect!) I found that since they didn't know to be on the look out for false shuffles and other sleight of hand techniques they won't spot them.

I wouldn't have believed this before I started working in retail. The manager said to make sure the customer knows about specials on the things they bought ("You can get two of those for $1 more" etc). Being a consumer I knew this was something the vendors just had to say so I wasn't surprised that I had to as well, but the specials are already signposted so if I didn't buy two it meant I didn't want two, so I just say no thanks. Way more customers than I expected actually do buy the extra one.
