Hi, I am a tourist to LA. I've been to the walk of Fame twice and I enjoyed it a lot! There are nice attractions like madam toussades. I enjoy seeing the all the stars and finding my favorite famous people. It's a great place to take pictures and get cheap or expensive souvenirs. I come from the city of Seattle where it's often chaotic and a little bit dirty. The walk of Fame didn't surprise me 🤣 except for the fact it was shorter than I thought.

Definitely, it full of people who are just trying to either take your money or walk on leftover garbage. Even in the big mall places or near the beaches in LA, there are so many homeless peeps there who will get up in your face just for money and not to mention catcallers. I will say though, if you want a good time in LA, try Little Tokyo or Malibu (you could also see such beautiful mountains there).

@@keriezy NorCal just says the number. The reason for it is because in SoCal we had assigned names for them like "The Hollywood Freeway" and "The San Diego Freeway" before numbers were introduced. Lol. Been working for Knott’s Berry Farm for a minute now. Yes, we’re know for our food especially our boysenberry products and food. But, the Knott’s Berry Farm actually became huge because of Mrs. Knott’s Sunday chicken dinners. It got so popular that the line stretched from where the restaurant is (still the same location) down the intersection of La Palma and Beach Blvd. Her husband had to keep the people entertained due to the long line. Then, the collection of amusing things just accumulated and Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park was born. P.S. Walt Disney and Mr. Knott were good friends and Walt got some of his inspiration from the amusement park from us before Disneyland was born. Lol. Just saying. 😂

Disneyland is infinitely better solely due to the ambiance and food options. Knotts is honestly extremely run down and there is no ambiance but their rides are definitely better suited for teens/adults who want fast rides. Laguna beach is the most scenic of all the beaches in OC but it’s also the most laid back. HB is a very surf centered beach which is nice for people watching, Newport and CDM are good for strolling and getting lunch, etc.

For anyone going to LA, just take a turn and go to San Diego or San Fransisco. San Diego has the Midway museum that is epic and many beautiful beaches to visit. San Fransico has amazing and healthy places to go to like Oasis, Greco, the outskirts of China town where they have the perfect teriyaki chicken and rice, and Pier 39 with their sourdough and ships that take you under the Golden gate bridge. If you still insist on LA, go to Little Tokyo or Malibu, these places are full of beautiful mountains, scenery, and shops, that you wouldn't believe that is LA. With that, visit a place in LA called Venice, where the beach has this walk towards the ocean and you could see dolphins from afar. Not to mention the best is taking a trip to Universal Studios (it is pricy though). Just a little golden rule in all these three cities is that NEVER and I mean never, ask for refills (unless you're eating by the beach), get your own straws, and don't buy anything in the large city LA (mostly near Hollywood); just trust me it will save you a lot of cash and trouble.

I agree with everything except for the part about the food. I’ve lived in the South, Midwest and now LA. It’s so hard to find seasoned food/chicken here that I became a pescatarian. People here have no idea what they’re missing with a Pub Sub. They’re too far from the Caribbean and Creole influence so it takes a lot of effort to find those foods. I tried to resort to making my own but went to the store and no one there knew what jerk seasoning was. Soul Food is an immense struggle. You’d be hard pressed to name more than 2 good places that everyone agrees on. LA has great Asian (SO much variety per country), American, Mexican, Mediterranean food. Oh yeah, It’s also hard to find a good Jewish deli or Italian food.

No, no, no, no! Please do a re edit and take the Burbank airport one out if it! Lol Here's a tip for people coming in after the Lyft Uber fiasco of 2019 (Thanksgiving 2019) just take a shuttle to the nearest hotel you will save about 60% on your ride and you won't be waiting for 5-6 hours in a parking lot with no service waiting for an Uber or Lyft that may or may not give up and just leave. Also, if you want to hit up a food truck and you are in town on a Sunday go to Smorgasburg at Row near DTLA la.Smorgasburg.com or go to Wilshire Ave any days of the week, around lunch time, across from LACMA and the Tar pits and you will have a great choice of food trucks to choose from. Also! Just drive down Hollywood Blvd when you go to Hollywood that's all you need to see, you don't even need to get out.

I mean people all over the world watch American movies and it's just seem it's somwhere on another planet , where they would never go ( well most of people won't) but it's is a imaginary place an can be really strange to see the world you thin you know in a totally different perspective. Also very side note but since I'm commenting on one of these how not o travel videos I have to say : Please don't say "I'm going to Europe this summer" or "I visited Europe". It's not w country! It's a whole continent ( well at least a specific part o Eurasia ) and it's multiple countries, not even like "west" "east" people whole live there hate being put into one pot, we are neighbours, friends, but each country has it's own character, history an people. So please don't just say" Yeah i've been to Europe " when you meen you went to Spain and France.

Not only will you be enjoying amazing dishes but also you get to support small family owned businesses. Also, if you have nothing to do at night just look up what’s going on in LA today and find a cool comedy club or affordable tickets to a show. There’s always something to do!
