AGREED! It makes it so much easier to get rid of the bad foods when I know what I can substitute it with. Cause sometimes you just crave the crunch, salt or sweetness and you can get that satisfaction from these healthier options, but you have to know what they are.

Thank you for your video. I'm 77, and for the first time in my life, I'm slightly overweight. My problem is not with food, but with sugar. I'm a sugar addict and it's killing me. Not good for my neuropathy (I'm not diabetic), not good for my general wellbeing. Finally, thoroughly sick and tired of feeling bloated, and fat, and drained of energy, I decided to stop the insanity. On Jan. 3, 2024, I began intermittent fasting, bought some trekking poles, and began walking. Already, I feel so much better. In the past, I jogged for seventeen years and quit, mainly because I consumed too much sugar that robbed me of my energy. They say you're never too old to learn! Thank you for helping me get on the right track. I'm looking forward to a younger, healthier me!

Don’t panic there is lots of good advice online. Obviously be careful what channels you watch but use your common sense to determine the wheat from the chaff. I am overweight and was concerned as I am in my 50’s that I might also be prediabetic . Anyway fortunately I am not or at least not yet. So I lost 36 pounds last year via interval fasting for me that meant eating in a 9 hour window quite simple if you push your breakfast closer to lunchtime around 10.45 ish …..everyone is different but it works if you eat foods that healthy ie high organic plant based diet with whole proteins and I am guessing if you prediabetic be very cautious about carbs ie bread/pizza/rice/pasta etc. There are hacks you can use to minimise blood sugar spikes such as eating a green salad with vinaigrette before eating any carbs and moving around 10 minutes after a meal. Sounds a little odd but apparently science backs up fact these hacks and similar can help. But if you not a healthy BMI most important thing to do is loose excess pounds and exercise such as walking or dancing etc eat healthy and dont forget many people do to get 8 hours sleep that helps body heal and should aid weight loss. We all know how we give into tempting foods that we know arent good for us when we tired or moody…….well I know I do . Good luck and hope you find a path to a normal blood sugar level that works for you. Check out Tim Spector he has a channel that interesting and discusses lots of health/ food /blood sugar topics. 😊

I tried every kind of statin and couldn't take the side effects. My LDL cholesterol # went from169 to 113 in 2 1/2 months. I wish i had all the # to share in front of me I cant remember them for sure but it is amazing. My Dr. was shocked at the numbers and the weight loss in a short amount of time. I work out 2 days a week with weights and 1 day a HIIT workout "for seniors "😊 Thank you so much for what you do!!!

I’m going to take your advise and take notes from your video to carry around. Usually a lot of people want to unload a bunch of crap on you. But I’m not going to use that excuse anymore. My way obviously didn’t work and a recent painful but not full fledged gallbladder attack is motivating me to change . Loved your video and part of the reason is when you tell us what NOT to eat you tell us WHY and what we can eat instead, but I live in the UK and a lot of the items we don’t get here…yet, I already drink milk alternative and on my cereal. I have had two TIA 14 years ago and recently been diagnosed with angina. I’m 69 and disabled so I can’t do much exercise but I do get out most days and try to walk for about an hour but it’s not the type of walking where I can challenge my heart rate. I am also pre diabetic but all I was told I cannot eat sausage or bacon. Also I shouldn’t be eating lots of fruit but I love fruit and I eat it everyday. I like that you showed us coconut ice cream, like an alternative to full fat ice cream. I would love those but we are way behind America here in the UK.

(from weight loss perspective) the moment you tell people not to eat this and that, is the moment where people start craving. Givin up after a short period and binge eat alle that crap again. It's about learning to eat whatever you want at the right amount and not to eat too fast. Though it might be working for someone to restrict yourself, i did it myself and it always fails in the end. Now i eat mostly healthy, but still eat ultra processed food from time to time, and it works better for me. have a nice day

Certainly, here's a perspective on why glyphosate can be beneficial for farmers, the environment, and consumers: Benefits for Farmers: Glyphosate is an effective herbicide that helps farmers control weeds in their fields. Its broad-spectrum activity allows for efficient weed control, reducing competition for water, nutrients, and sunlight, which can significantly increase crop yields. Glyphosate is also used as a desiccant, helping to dry out crops like wheat and barley before harvest. This aids in uniform ripening, facilitates easier harvesting, and reduces the risk of mold and mycotoxin contamination, contributing to higher-quality crops. Environmental Benefits: Glyphosate has enabled the adoption of conservation tillage practices, such as no-till or reduced tillage farming. These practices help to reduce soil erosion, improve soil health, and sequester carbon in the soil. By minimizing soil disturbance, glyphosate contributes to preserving soil structure and promoting biodiversity in agricultural landscapes. Compared to some alternative herbicides, glyphosate has a favorable environmental profile. It has a shorter half-life in soil, meaning it breaks down relatively quickly into harmless byproducts, reducing the risk of long-term soil contamination. Benefits for Consumers: Glyphosate plays a crucial role in maintaining a consistent and affordable food supply. By enabling higher crop yields and reducing production costs, glyphosate contributes to keeping food prices stable and accessible for consumers. Glyphosate residues on food are strictly regulated by government agencies to ensure they remain well below established safety thresholds. Numerous studies have confirmed that the levels of glyphosate residues found in food are well below the levels considered harmful to human health, providing consumers with confidence in the safety of their food supply. In summary, glyphosate has become an integral tool in modern agriculture, benefiting farmers by increasing productivity, promoting sustainable farming practices, and ensuring a reliable and affordable food supply for consumers. When used responsibly and in accordance with best management practices, glyphosate can contribute to a more efficient and environmentally sustainable agricultural system.

Awesome video! I know all these bad foods. But I’m so happy u explained in detail! Also, that u give alternatives!!!! Ty so much! I didn’t know about “opioids being in dairy??” Wow! I do eat FACE Greek yogurt w/organic blueberries or the bananas w/green tip u mentioned in yr “10 favorite food video.” I do also eat Good Culture cottage cheese w/blueberries or an organic small Gala red apple w/the skin. Not everyday but I add the cottage cheese to my egg salad instead of mayonnaise. W/fresh dill, little bit Dijon mustard, green onions, 8 organic eggs (hard boiled) separate the yolks then add a half a fresh lemon squeezed, salt n pepper, 2 cups cottage cheese, diced up fresh dill, diced up green onions, t tsp Dijon mustard, sliced up avocados n use yr Ezekiel Bread toast it n spread half avocado on it then add my amazing egg salad to it! It’s so filling full of protein! I make this sometimes twice a wk! My family loves it! I eat it w/o the bread just scoop the egg salad & use handful of fresh organic greens! Side of fresh mixed organic grape tomatoes! Yummy! ❤❤ Ty for yr video! I make cauliflower chips! Cauliflower rice, cauliflower mashed! Love lentils, love black n pinto beans! I keep nuts around. Unsalted. Walnuts, almonds, Brazil. Ty for saying to keep “in freezer” I never knew that!” Yr amazing! Love all yr tips! So glad I found u! ❤❤

I'm 64 and I'm a diabetic and I've just been diagnosed with gout I'm not obese but I could stand to lose a few pounds What kind of diet should I be eating? My favorite foods are steak and shrimp which now I can no longer indulge :( I eat a lot of fish chicken and veggies already and usually eat only 1meal a day
