Daniel Bryan immediately comes to mind for this list

Lmao y'all should put jimmy wang yang on this list apparently after he was let go he was hanging out backstage and he went to Vince and Vince talked to him like he was gonna perform tonight and then once he said he was let go Vince was like well I'm sorry your hired I just can't keep track of everyone

Drew Gulak is actually the most recent. After the furlough, they released him weeks later on his own, but he was hired back less than a week or a week later

You say this like Maverick/Rockstar Spud hasn't always been a comedic character to a degree. Even in TNA, where he had moments like being X-Division Champion, and having a brutal match with EC3, he still had moments like feuding about adult braces, resulting in an Empty Arena Exposed Corners Match with Braxton "The Butcher" Sutter

For what people say he was actually fired but when he did the video Vince liked his acting skills and seen that people really like him, so he put him back
@MinimiMax

All circumstances surrounding it just point at it being a work. He was a part of a tournament, he was not taken out of that tournament when he was fired, so basically him being fired literally meant nothing at that point because he was still going to wreste for the company. How does any of this make sense? If they wanted him fired, they would have had him finish the tournament and then do it. To me, at that point they made it obvious he's gonna win it.

Nope. They canned him. He reacted emotionally, it got people talking, and WWE made an angle out of it. Maverick is a decent performer, but he's not that good of an actor to be as convincingly upset as he was in that video. People love to talk about it all "obviously being a work", because they're smarks and don't want to ever be seen as being worked by a company, but something being turned into an angle after an incident happens is nothing new. There's another example of it in this very video with the Edge/Lita/Matt Hardy stuff. There's still a bunch of clownish smarks that insist the Montreal Screwjob was an elaborate work in order to kill WCW from the inside...yeah.

I appreciate showing the Drake Maverick firing as legitimate. I know people think it was all a work, but I’m in the camp that believes it wasn’t. Was nice to hear it presented with the benefit of the doubt clearly intact.

everyone loves to jump on the "John Cena buried the Nexus" but facts state that some members had injuries and some had to be sent back to developmental for more training and some had failed drug tests. It's ashamed that not only WWE hurt the members of the group who clearly were not TV ready because the stable could've been salvaged after the injured members came back

Bogeyman could work today as a manager/sensei to some current wrestler with a strange gimmick. I could so see the Fiend Bray Wyatt or someone just as weird. Say Braun Strowman comes back with him in his corner. Had Daniel Bryan never been rehired by wwe, I think that, for his part, he'd have been (& helped make ROH) bigger than they are today. It could've been the house Bryan built. Daniel could've been the catalyst for ROH to be true competition to the wwe. Now that may be pie in the sky thinking, but maybe not.
