What makes Toycat and his world so special is that for those of us who have been subbed for YEARS is we have literally watched the world delevope slowly, so much so that we also get nostalgia from it! All the projects he shows off I remember watching him do it live and even having been a part of it by the live chat. Millions of us have technically attributed to this world by giving him ideas (okay let’s be real it’s us saying something and him doing the opposite out of spite 😂) I don’t know of any other youtuber who has ONE huge project for 10 years straight. I still have my Long Boi™️ plushie, one of the only pieces of merch I’ve ever bought despite watching KZitem daily for like 15 years!

What I’ve like about your world since I started watching (~2 years ago) is that of all yt minecrafters, you seem the most like you are just building for yourself. It's channels like this that inspired me to do long-term survival world 3 years ago. Started on a random seed, spawned on an unassuming island, made East where I hit the mainland, found two npc villages close together on a plains biome, made my first base smack-dab between them (you can guess what I did with the villagers XD), and expanded my reach several thousand blocks in each direction, with torch trails to light the way, pillars of lava to mark my outposts, and sooooo many ideas and projects racing through my head like a blender at a track meet, like draining a monument (check), discovering an abandoned village (check), making an ice farm (not check). But sadly my save got corrupted, random bits of world generation popped up here and there, and my entire village population (safe, secure, and well contained mind you!), disappeared with no explanation as to why. I was so put down I deleted that save before remembering to check the seed number (BIG MISTAKE). No backups, with no way to try to relive the experience. I haven't played minecraft since then, though I hope to try again sometime soon. KEEP AT IT! ⛏️

Do something! Anything really, you'll be motivated once you start. Or i just start building in a different style, or play in a different way, when im burned out from my modern city i go to the countryside, building some quaint towns of medieval or victorian styles, and farmland, or ships, or redstone.

I love seeing all of these amazing projects you've done over the years. We currently have one going that started in July, and though we took a bit of a break we're now playing it a little bit again. I watch some truly crazily talented Minecrafters, like the Hermits or Empire gang or WadZee. They are great, but ultimately I dont have the time to practice and be a perfectionist at building or red stone like they do. Seeing you just play always was fun, because you just had fun. There was no pressure to build the best looking castle. Its almost freeing to me, that I can just play how I want and I know that I dont have to live up to a standard of insane skills. The Hermits are talented, but I can have fun by doing what you do and just enjoying myself. If I want to live in the End for a month then I can do that, if I want to build an ugly house it doesn't matter. In other words, thanks for being you and showing people they can be themselves too. We can enjoy those who are better at something than us but we shouldn't be discouraged that we aren't as good as them. The goal is to have fun!

My builds look a lot better and are a lot compact, because my main thing is being able to see all my progress easily, and look at the map to see it too. But I still enjoy having strange things around my world, like in places no one would ever look. Like I have a whole room made out of Stripped Crimson Hyphae deep in my first mine. Also, something that really bothers me is having ANY unlit area. So I've gone ahead and placed 100,000 torches in my world, and the only places i leave unlit are the insides of mob farms lol.
