JT has learned amazing restraint. Clearly he has been meditating.

JT love the way you just told her straight. I'm surprised she actually got through your screening process. Also, Lawrence who is one of you clients speaks very highly of you. Keep up the great work! (Subscribed)

This coaching session reminded me of an business idea I came up with a while ago (not literally - different product) that I decided not to go ahead with. JT & Francie's responses were on point and presented in an amicable way. She seemed to be really caught up in her story of how she came up with the product and then also the romantic idea of going viral. She generally wasn't really listening.

That is an issue that she wants your money and goes out of her way to say she doesn't want your mind. Even if she wanted an investment she would be stupid to not want your business expertise as well. It is a product that she would have to compete on price with and that is never a good product. Her only USP is that she has the biggest one on the market, that is not a USP

better to get hammered in the beginning than waste 2 years trying to roll out something like this. I think she was creative without thinking of any business logic at all. Also red flag that she doesn't want to be coached running a "business".

She probably assumes her IP will be golden so she doesn't need to worry about China, but that hasn't existed since 1950s as far as a protected market. No POTUS would "protect" this to get it off the ground either.

I always laugh when JT offers up his two cents, and someone comes back with "BUT..." Why is there always a but? Because people fall in love with the idea instead of thinking about the business from a viability standpoint and moving on to the next idea if the last one wasn't good enough to make the cut..

well it can be valid that a few ideas will be passed over by a business guru, it happens, but in general most products like this will fail if they can't take input on the product viability.

Its a fun idea, but as a sell around the neighborhood arts and crafts maybe... but realistically its exactly like JT says, mass produced in China and easily copiable, low margins business. If you're Walmart, maybe you can make money on this, but just no real IP there to trademark to benefit off before copies show up. Red flag also she had no idea on numbers at all.
