From a beginner's perspective, the editing of where you hit the cueball really helps. For each shot the viewer can try to predict where it will land... which is a great exercise. Thanks for the effort you put into this!

Love your videos. I was going through the old videos before the renovation. I noticed some missing from the days of old which is sad but was also reminded of how far you have come. I'm excited for you as you keep progressing not only as a player but as a content provider and entertainer. Your set up with lots of brighter lighting and your audio sounds fantastic now. Just wanted to say good job. I hope KZitem is paying you enough to keep up with all the costly upgrades you have given us over the years. Looking forward to many years to come. Many thanks from Peterborough Ontario Canada. God bless.

Amazing to watch this, but I saw Stephen Hendry do the same thing. This dude has great action and technique, but you can see the little imperfections in the stroke etc. Stephen Hendry was perfection. Cue action was dead straight like it was laser guided. This dude is still sooooooo good, but I was just able to notice the difference now we can watch these type of videos from arguably the best player ever. It's him or Ronnie for me. I learn more from watching these breaks though than 100 other videos on snooker breaks. It's wonderful to watch someone this good from this perspective.

Great Videos! Even without any explanation, these videos from the headcam perspective would still offer great insight into how a first class consistent cue delivery should look to any player as their shot is being played and these videos also provide players of all standards a far better impression of how exactly pots are cued in terms of power and where the tip should contact on the cueball in order to achieve both accurate successful potting and also crucially the desired position on the next ball needed to continue building a break. Top Work Good Sir!!! Thanks for these and please continue to expand your Channel! 😃🎯💯💯

It appears to me that you strike most shots in this video with right side and when using left side it appears as a center ball hit....is this just my view or is it because of the angle of the go pro in relation to your line of sight? Thank you for all of your Utube presentations.....very well done.👍😀

You have no idea how good the pros are. He is a decent player but with all due respect, he would get annihilated by anyone in the top 128, no question.
@garethlloyd1445

Technically there's only 128 professional snooker players normally. The new season will consist of 122. To get on the tour is extremely hard. The rest are considered to be amateurs. This guy has probably tried to get in to tournaments but not good enough. Some players can be amazing potters but struggle with safety play. I also feel that snooker is the hardest game to master. I think of it as a video rpg game where they level up with experience. Amateur footballers are like level 1 and you level up to 5 and your semi-pro. Level up to 10 and your professional with some players getting up to 15 like Messi. I see all sports like this. The quality from a top player to a amateur. Then when I do this with snooker. The pros are so good compared to amateur and even good players, they are like levels 35 to 40. If anyone can make sense of that 😂
@SteveNinetyski
3 жыл бұрын
@@garethlloyd1445 You are not wrong. The guys on tour are absolute gravy compared to even the best amateurs. I have played my whole life to a decent level. My best break is 135 and I would get thumped 5-0 by any tour pro, those tables are ridiculous to play on compared to club tables.
@garethlloyd1445
3 жыл бұрын
@@SteveNinetyski still 135 is still something to shout about. You could randomly grab 1000 people off the street and they all had ago at snooker and they all can be bad. Players who can achieve a century break are still a rare breed. Im much better at pool, getting pub trophy whatever. Along snooker my top break was 32. Now my left eye is stronger than my right being 41 Yr old so my line is off

It would be great if you could get a super slow motion POV of the tip of the cue hitting the cue ball in various ways. Easier said than done and would probably need some high tech cameras but it would be awesome. I'd almost be keen to pay the rental for a industry standard high FR cam.

Excellent video as usual. I have a question: you’re obviously very talented when you’re practicing alone, but do you feel stress when playing in tournaments? Does the stress of having an audience affects how you play, or are you able to get into “the zone” and just forget about distractions/people/noises?
