It is a great joy to see this amazing woman driving at 100. Just because she has to use a walking stick does not mean that she is unable to drive a car. I hope that she will be a driving coach for younger generations who are to take their driver's licences.

Seen February 24, 2019. Age 97. I still drive daily. Living in Los Angeles kinda a must. I did go to a all electric Fiat. My driving is locally. When it's time I'll know it. I hope I just go before that and family can say I drove to the very end. Thank you.

What a marvellous lady !! Still driving at that age and very well seemingly !! Always brings a smile seeing little videos like this I’m not a big BBC fan but that was so lovely to let her have one last ride in the car that she had first driven, it’s sad that she passed away 2 years later in November 2014 but it appears she lived a happy and fulfilled life God bless 😊

This is a fantastic video :-). I deeply revere older people and the elderly generation :-). Certainly people who are centenarians :-). Although I've never met a centenarian or a supercentenarian before. But if I ever met somebody who's over 100 or over 110 I would be so happy :-). I don't even know anyone over the age of 100 but I do know somebody who's 91 though :-). But Susie Dixon :-). She's great for a lady over 100 years of age :-). Wow :-). He turned 100 on the 19th March 2012? :-). That is impressive :-). That means she was born on the 19th March 1912 if she turned 100 on the 19th March 2012. I don't know if she's alive now but I'm guessing she lived beyond 103 :-). Seeing this video featuring her in it it looked like she had easily another 3 or 4 years in her seeing her still driving and walking around despite the assistance of a cane :-). If I ever see a video of anyone driving who's over 100 years of age it really intrigues me :-). I seriously couldn't imagine myself being able to drive if I ever live to be over 100 years old. I couldn't even imagine my stepgrandfather Edmund being able to drive if he ever lives to be over 100 but I doubt he will. He still drives and he's only 72 going on for 73 years of age. It must of really brought back Susie a lot of happy memories from her early days of driving when she took a ride in the bluenose Morris car towards the end of the video :-). She really did look happy :-). Plus she also looked great for an 100 year old lady in this video I have to say :-). I personally think she looked about 85 instead of 100 she looked great :-). She didn't look 100 or 90 in my honest opinion :-). But there are some people in their 100's who look only in their 60's or 70's some of them :-). Good video :-). I enjoyed watching it :-). Thanks for sharing :-). Have a nice evening and take care :-). From Foxy :-).

My Great Aunt Bobby volunteered 5 days a week at a charity center and drove until she was 101. Her daughter made her stop a few months before her 102 birthday because of some health issues

If an old person can drive safely, let them. As long as they drive slower, be careful and stick to slower moving lanes, it's cool!

I hope you realise, if they go to slow then that’s dangerous. NOBODY should go to fast or slow. What do you mean slow lanes? The woman is already a good driver, she is very careful so I don’t see why she should only use that.

"Rubbish." "So glad you said that" Yet psychological testing shows they have a FAR lower spatial awareness. It's not rubbish. Stereotypes exist for a reason

@richardmorgan607 that is nothing to do with it. My father had been driving without an accident for over 50 yrs and his insurance went up with his age. It almost doubled to what he used to pay. Some insurers won't even consider insuring older drivers. It is a very restricted market. My father was paying 400 a year .he had a minor accident abs was then quoted double that.he then had to sell his car.
