Yeah many great artifacts found in this one. And you're right, many people wouldn't want to venture deep into this one because of the danger factor. Glad you like my vids, many more to come!

Another great video. But man, you really make me nervous watching you crawl by those vertical supports splintered from the pressure they're holding back. I saw the other comment about getting lost and you say you have a photographic memory. I'm one of those guys that don't have a memory like that so I would definitely get lost!!! Thanks for the video.
@WesternMineDetective
3 жыл бұрын
Don't be nervous, those supports aren't gonna snap while I'm in the mine you know unless I punch the crap out of one of the timbers. Even then nothing might happen. And yeah it really helps to have a memory where you remember the exact look of the spot you came up. Would be very possible to get lost in this mine if you were to go far enough. Thanks for watching!

Awesome mine scrambling! Curious if you have a method of marking your path in as that was pretty deep.
@WesternMineDetective
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I do have a method and it's called photographic memory. Now for adits that split I use the right hand rule. Now for going up stopes, I just remember what was above the stope. Pretty easy if there was an artifact or winze going down into the stope to identify it.

Yeah many ways to get lost in there, the thing is I've got a photographic memory so I remember certain features above the stopes so I know where I came up from. And I really wasn't trying to go alone but everyone was busy, so that's why I've got a solo explore. Appreciate you taking the time to watch, Bonnie!

@Tarry Smith Sr. -- Not too much different than walking through a Forest . You've got a ''forest'' of Stulls in there and instead of leaves overhead you have solid rock . What's so scary about that ? A lot safer in there than you would be driving down any California Freeway .
@DFDuck55

Very few pillars in those stopes. That would lead me to believe the ore they were pulling out of there was worth more to them than the safety of leaving pillars.

I’m thinking because the person that dynamited it knew of the danger the mind possesses and didn’t desire to leave it open in good conscious
