I’m prolly just sentimental but there was something sad about the house coming down. No doubt it had to happen, but I thought about all of the memories made in each room.

OH MY GOODNESS , Chris. When the bucket made its first crash into the farmhouse, it looked like the head of a T-Rex from Jurassic Park! That bucket is huge buddy. The camera is deceiving to the eyes, but that shot left nothing to the imagination. Awesome video.

my house is a cabin that was relocated from the center of our town right to the edge. it was already an old run down cabin when the people "discovered" the land and decided to build a town there, and the person living in it had no idea how old it was. the town was finally founded in 1792 almost 230 years ago, meaning the wood is probably over 300 years old

Chris always enjoys these kinds of jobs. I bet that place had some history. Looks like a real sharecroppers house built by the sharecropper. Grandpa said never take the hay bales out or the barn will fall over. Glad you got some rain,,thought you would be burning down at the New Bern property.

Live in a 90+ year old farmhouse. It has more sorry additions than I have fingers. All of the work was clearly performed by Mr. Haney and family, LLC. If it were to be inspected by health officials, it would be condemned. Looking forward to pushing it into a burn pit...!

Figured you'd get a lot more hate for killing the piano, having rescued one very similar I can tell everyone that sitting in an old unheated building, the strings will be incredibly rusty and will break if you try to tune it. I had to completely restring mine with all new felt and everything. But it doesn't hurt to check them. Some of the old ones had the sound board made of solid brass. Most were cast iron but if you luck out a few hundred pounds of brass is a nice score for scrap
