Hey man:) nice video! I have a short question i am interested in. How much do you think a solid nl100z player can improve in 1 month? Like 150h of play and 50h effective study time. Would there be any visible differences? or just small improvements here and there if you really are very effective with your time?

think improvement should come more gradual. Setup a sustainable balance and try to maintain that for an extended period of time.

Nice video! With 88 on the QJTK board bn vs bb, you can almost rangeblock OTT as this card improves you heavily The 98s vs JTs hand, where you mentioned OOP should jam or check on the Q87A double fd board,a block szing is actually prefered to put IP weaker hands in tougher spots and to be able to valuebet Ax, while not building a big pot on bad rivers

The not building big pots on bad rivers makes no sense when choosing between small/shove. If you shove you don’t care about rivers. If you b25/50, the SPR will be like 0.5-0.8 and you will 1. Lose the rest of the stack to a bluffcatcher, cuz he will x/back river with 50bb behind 2. Give opponent price to realise equity, times where you will what? Check call river anyways, or even worse, fold and your opponent will run a cheap bluff because you’re checking range will be massively underdefended. 3. Not win money by making them fold riske’s type hand. So i do think in practice, against human, riske’s strategy split on the turn is just better and easier to perform.

Hey Ryan. Love your vids. I always enjoy watching other good regs play and hear their thoughts during playing. I have some comments on the 98ss vs JTdd hand. Saulo used to do a lot of videos for GTOWizard and it took me a bit by surprise how he played the hand. 98s COvBB is a low freq defend vs a 3b depending on the BB sizing. I didnt see the preflop sizing Saulo used but I assume it was around 11.5 -12.5bb. So against that sizing 98s is around 10-20% at best. Full freq defend against a capable reg is a small mistake imo because of how 98s performs against BB´s 3b range. His sizing on the flop was fine, solver prefers a 33 or 50% sizing with lots of checking. The turn however was misplayed from Saulo as JTdd prefers a check 100% of the time according to GTOWizard. If the BB decides to bet, the sizing should be 20-33% always. I understand your reasoning to ship the 98s against a halfpot bet but in this spot solver prefers calling. But maybe if I ran a sim with his sizing there would be some shoves. Also you said that on an A turn doubleflush board you prefer just jamming it in as the BB which I think is a big mistake. On Ace turns with boards similar to these it´s preferrable to use very small bets around 20-25% to make IP´s life harder and to be able to valuebet thinly. On blank rivers you can then split all in and a small bet again to value bet thin and also to bluff cheaply with some combos. All the best to you.

Any site suggestions for players in Ontario? I’ve been playing GG but I know it will get segregated eventually. Bodog?
