I bought a new Tern Link D8 in 2013 and I really like it. I've added several things to it over the years. In 2015 I added a Bionic e-Bike Kit so now my Tern is an electric bike. I actually have my bike as a Windows wallpaper that I am looking at right now on my second monitor as I type this. The bike is white with orange accents. I've added in no particular order: Frame water bottle holder, new seat, under seat light, handlebar light, left-side mirror (really comes in handy for safety), Tern Truss, Kryptonite bike chain lock, bell, snap in case for the Truss, and an L-shaped thingy that snaps into the Truss also so I can carry my backpack up front but I still need to bungee it down tightly. It came with front and rear fenders and a rear rack. However, the e-kit replaced the stock rack and the battery locks into that space. I just do city riding so no long distances for me. The suspension isn't the best for long rides in my opinion and my back reminds me of that often. :)

The Tern link D8 is a great bike. I've been riding one for 3 years. I roll with Vee Speedster 20x2.00 tires. And it's like floating down the road. Love it.

Hello from Canada. I have spent many years looking for the ideal bike for me to fly to countries during our Winter months. I never wanted anything smaller than 20 inch wheels so that eliminated many of the airport friendly bikes. I had considered so many different brands & for the most part found that you were paying for the name over good quality. I had considered Tern's in the past & specifically their BYB but felt over time the multiple hinges & folding points could be the cause of a loose frame. My latest contender which seems to tick all the right boxes for price, quality & features is the Tern Link B8. I hope to ride the perimeter of Guimaras & Siquijor Islands on my next trip. Anyone familiar with the Iloilo Bike Festival? Please keep your videos coming. Thank you.

Aside from the bike tools, I also bring an extra interior, power bank, extra water and energy food just in case there's nothing along the road. 🙂

Congratulations Tek Cortez for this interesting, engaging, and well-made video. I am just curious about the route you took to Tagaytay --- was it via Revpal from Nuvali? Were you able to finish the climbs continuously, non-stop with the stock gearing of your bike? Your time of 6 hours for 100 km is already within the Audax cut-off time for this distance. I am currently window-shopping for a folding bike for commuting and long rides, and the D8 is on my list of options. Being 8-speed, this bike could be upgraded to 1x12 with 50-52t as the lowest gear. Hoping for your kind response. More power to your future vlogs. Peace.

Nakipagsabayan ako sa mountain bike. Ako lang kasi naka foldy, dati halos mamatay na ko sa hingal ngayon nakakasabay ko na sila ng walang hingal
