Wow! I’m on video number 32 for my series on the 102 Tangles of Zentangle. When I started this, I wasn’t sure that I would create videos for all of the tangles. But now I only have 3 more patterns remaining! The three patterns in this video are all what I would call “high focus” and it’s a love/hate relationship when I draw them. I just have to admit that I still struggle with these, so I’ve done a lot of practice. I’ve really enjoyed going through all of these patterns.
This video shows Opus, Mysteria, and Verdigogh. Mysteria is not a published pattern, which means the step outs are only in CZT books. But it is an easy tangle, very similar to Squid except it’s meant to be a filler pattern. And I’m showing three versions of Verdigogh. The original and “evolved” version are in my Zenthology. The “spiraling Verdigogh” is from Project Pack 19 day 3. I had fun finding a way to put them all together. I hope that you enjoy it and I’m so excited about being close to the finish!!
I first learned about Zentangle when I saw the 102 Tangles of Zentangle poster on display at a local community college. I have been in love with Zentangle ever since, and I have a goal to show all the 102 patterns before my 5-year CZT anniversary on June 19, 2024. The 102 Tangles of Zentangle poster was published in 2009 and can be purchased at Zentangle.com.
