Doleman & Millard was an awesome combo. I remember when they asked Randle Cunningham at the Pro Bowl who was he glad was on his team this time. He said, Doleman. Nearly every time he would get his, laying on the turf and look up and there was Doleman. RIP we miss you big guy!

My condolences to the Doleman family, all knew him and his fans. I live in MN, it was so fun to watch Chris play. On any play he might get a sack and when you saw that arm come up there was a good chance he was going to cause a fumble. The second best player ever to wear #56. R.I.P. Chris

I actually had the pleasure of meeting him once. He was really cordial and had a great smile. As I was standing next to him it occurred to me that his biceps were bigger than my thighs. Just a crazy talented guy.

Nice video! He was an awesome player who had the ability to defend both run and pass exceptionally well. I thought he should have won defensive player of the year in 1989.

Matt Blair #59 Hall of Fame yeah, one of the more underrated players in history. Millard, his teammate won it as I’m sure you know, and they had Al Noga who finished with 11.5 that year as well. That 1989 pass rush was one of the best the league will ever see

This is the first time I've seen any of his plays. He was killing those blockers. At 3:20 you just see the left tackle get pushed aside like a little kid and Doleman comes in the picture and lays out the QB. Impressive!

Can’t believe I’m never heard of this guy until I seen a sack list. What a beast. I was too young to witness his greatness . I started watching football from the 2000

A line with "Hammering Hank" Henry Thomas , Kieth "my arms are more powerful than your guns" Millard and Chris Coleman was something to see . I mean the 90's in purple was crazy with the additions of John Randle and Al Noga etc . The Metrodome was rocking on Sundays

I didn't know he was gone. But, he was literally almost as good of a 49er as he was a Viking! I was surprised at that stat. He was an old player by then and you don't see that much at all--esp. where your position hinges on speed. Some kind of a player right there!
