"easy access" 😂😂😂 Claudia is going to kill me with laughter one of these days 😂😂😂 Great video! I love the description of the audiology appt 😝 I did know why you wore the hearing aids though... unless you're born missing the nerve (or other part of the ear anatomy) most deaf people can hear at least SOMETHING with a hearing aid. I can totally understand getting offended by the wording of that question. You guys make such awesome q&a videos! Congratulations on 10k subscribers!

I recently discovered you and subscribed! I'm a 30 year old ME sufferer (diagnosed at 13) and I'm a femme lesbian too! I don't think I've ever known another gay person with ME - I always feel like a have a lot of labels 😂. I really like your channel and your openness about everything - I deal with so much shame and basically stopped socialising because of having to explain myself. You and Claudia are so lovely together! I need to find a wife who will accept me as I am! 😆 😘 xxxx

The number of labels involved with being disabled in the LGBT community is insane!! It's really hard to deal with sometimes, so I usually laugh it off with corny jokes. ("did you see that?" "no." "oh, OH I'M SORRY" *laughing hysterically*) Usually I just say I'm visually impaired and asexual. But sometimes I'm in the mood to see people get really confused and pull out the full terms like, "Okay, well here's my laundry list. I'm asexual graypanromantic. I'm visually impaired due to optic nerve hypoplasia. I also have anxiety/panic disorder and a mood disorder as well as carpal tunnel and a wheat allergy. And I have a number of other symptoms currently undiagnosed, so that's fun. So do you still want to hang out on Friday?" And, you know, then just continue conversation while they stare in shock and confusion. I do eventually break out into laughter and apologize/explain, but the reactions to this are really funny!

Jessica well done on reaching 10,000+ subscribers you clearly put in a lot of effort and your videos are always thoughtful and fun. As Claudia is doing your braces I think she can call herself an orthodartist rather than just your regular dartist. 40s & 50s styles do suit you. Have you tried much from the late 60s? There were some beautiful mid and full length dresses with lovely patterns and colours, even on more formal styles. Many just think hippy but the late 60s was an eclectic mix.

Im surprised. The explanation of how you "listen"to others and have conversations, it somewhat fits how I cope with conversation with my ADHD. I miss out on bits and pieces and/or forget instantly stuff people say. So I do alot of guessing, based on context and situation. Its really exhausting with people I dont know very well.

I'm not sure if I missed something in another video but you have a care taker or a nurse that helps you? Why would Claudia find you on the floor? I know you mentioned you loose feeling but is that why? It can come on that sudden an often? I had no idea BSL had the same sub languages as ASL because we have SEE and PSE and they use the same signs for the most part it's more the sentence structure and context that changes things if that makes any sense. You two are so cute together! Congratulations on 10K!

I recently had an Audiologist appointment myself and I got 100% on the "With lip reading" aspect and 60% with my eyes closed ... this was with her essentially facing me (as I wasn't turned around which I think affects my hearing more since the microphone isn't neccessarily in the right direction then) ... I still need to show my boss the paper so that she understands how much of a HUGE difference looking at me and me looking at a person when they're talking makes with what I pick up on.... The fact that when someone talks to the back of my head or covers their mouth means they're only giving me a 60% chance of understanding them I find is actually quite offensive really (although I fully understand that it's not a total strangers fault if that happens lol) especially when you oftentimes get into grief over it by the "offender". Why didn't you do this or that? etc... I also related when Claudia said she had asked you about when do you feel least trapped in your 'bubble' and alone and you had said dancing because of the loud music no one can hear anyone... I actually agree... It's like finally everyone is at my level and I'm an equal... I'm actually a bartender and there can be like 5 people around conversing and I'll feel lost... but then we'll have like a function of 100 people and everyone is all leaning over the bar to hear you or your coworkers are to hear their customers and you're just totally fine because you can lip read like a boss... (although when people have a few too many drinks they can start saying things in the wrong order etc which doesn't help lol!) I even went to a music festival in March and you literally couldn't hear the person right next to you half the time and it's so funny because they (Hearing) will give you their ear to yell in... and then if they speak to you they come in to your ear and speak and you literally have no idea what they said because you can't see their lips... so a few times I would actually like push (redirect) the person to stand in front of me and speak... because I can lip read WAY better than hear them over the music through my hearing aids lol!

In elementary school I recall a biology class where we were made to look at each other and find which of us might not have blue eyes and blond hair and blond brows and eyelashes and we found 1 I think with green eyes and no one with dark hair but THEN our teacher took her classes off and revealed that she had brown eyes as she was German-Polish. None of us had seen brown eyes before and I recall several of us found them scary because they seemed so dark and a bit "black-ish". I would never think that anyone with the common caucasian mix of fair skin and medium-dark hair could be Scandinavian. I would think Central Europe, UK or USA. Im Scandinavian. Genetically 100% Viking (Danish with traceable ancestors known in literature from that time) but hold Norwegian, Danish/Greenlandic, Swedish, Icelandic and Faroe Islandic citizenship.
@wirinaholstein4076
6 жыл бұрын
My point is to state that my culture, nationality and genetics could be considered close to Jessica's foreign Swedish part descend. But I never NEVER experience brown eyes. Its funny when trying to explain that to people and there places in Scandinavia where you can easily run into brown eyed people in the larger cities or even medium sized communities. But there are no brown eye genes anywhere in our genetics here so brown eyes are always "proof" that you may be Scandinavian, but not entirely and not originally.

For the first months of my life they said I didn't react to any noise, so I was deaf, not hard of hearing (the doctors then fixed my nerves though) Also, you're at 200k right now in less than a year, congrats! Im guessing anglo-malay like Keanu Reeves, Ive seen the face structure before on another anglo-malay from south africa. Tell you what....give Claudia to Australia and we will give you Penny Wong (a lesbian lefty politician from Malaysia, fuck shes a gruff bitch)

@@tmx1994 I noticed in some of the videos that Claudia did look a bit Chinese, especially in the video they were doing the makeup on each other. 🙂

First time seeing Claudia, I thought she might be Maori , native peoples of New Zealand. Pretty no matter the origins come from. Love both their accents, not sure where Claudia's is from in UK. Fun ladies !
