Zon Jai, well said this episode. Totally understandable. And honestly, I moved to here for one year and start everything from zero.... and its challenging but I dont have much fantansy about living in UK, everything within my expectation. Boring or not it really depends on people, but I feel peaceful and calm, and enjoying watching your channel every night:))))))
Totally agree with you… good neighbours makes a big difference! Also the way you choose to adapt is important too, hope everyone find their own pace and have a happy life!💪🏻
I came to the U.S. in 1983 because I totally distrusted the 50-year pledge. It’s been 40 years. Everything the host in this KZitem video said about enjoying nice neighbors and total strangers reaching out to help him happens in the US. It just does not happen in Hong Kong. I never found the U.S. unsuitable for living. Indeed, I already found it difficult to spend time in Hong Kong after living in the U.S. for one year. I retired from the U.S. national security apparatus. Before that, I also taught American government and politics at the university level in the US.

@ Steve Yuen . 👍 🙏 ☕️ 🍰 🍦. Agree with you . I came over to USA in January 1970 after living in the then British HongKong for 12 years. I am from an American family of Italian and Cantonese descent. For whatever reasons , living here is much easier for me than in Kowloon . Although I like HongKong but that ‘s not my life style in that society so to speak . I ❤ the food there for sure . We meet very few Cantonese here either from GuangZhou or HomgKong . Most of them are in Chicago which is about 90 miles away . My wife is Cantonese and all her friends are either in east coast or west coast and that the situation here so not many Cantonese from HongKong would like to settle down here. Greetings from Wisconsin .

Do you know the American medical system kills Ard 30000+ Americans every year? The medical system is BROKEN as announced by Harvard medical school ... Tons of people cannot afford medical bills...even insulin is too $$$ and people just die ... and almost HALF with full time job CANNOT AFFORD RENT. (Uk guardian report, usa mainstream trying to hide it, as former usa labour chief has mentioned) Also many professors and CIA points to civil war on horizon...even Ray Dalio... Most jobs you see on the street is NOT LIVING WAGE! NEED DEBT TO LIVE!!

The measure of disposable income will not lie. The truth is, disposable income in UK is V V V low. Let' face it, HK may not be good, but UK isn't really better $ wise.
