Great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this amp. I appreciate that. You also have (had?) the 7300 7 channels. How does that one compare to the AD8300? In your opinion, is having two 7300s worth the money over one 8300? Btw, I hope Summithifi is also offering the SW-D8000. This is even bugger subwoofer. Is has dual 15" on either side of the cabinet and double the power of the D6000.

So excited that Amir has moved into the reselling his custom OEM multi channel amplifier. Only he knows what people want and the value they want for dedicated home theater. Love that 7 channel amplifier. I want to see it with the top off. Amir should offer a 3 channel reference differential toroidal amplifier to compete with Emotiva balanced reference differential. When will Amir or Tonewinner come out with HDMI v2.1 update the Tonewinner AT-300 processor? Throw in DTS-X Pro and I would spend $2,499.99 with a web configuration interface. Keep the same parametric equalization and Amir should throw in a REW tutorial for $39.99 with you to compete with techno dad.

@@SheetMetalSolutionsIndia it'll be a few weeks before I have any feedback on them but as mentioned in the video, the d6000 has already been compression tested and outperformed the pb16 so it would best the pb4000 as well.

How do these multi channel amps work if its used for both music and movies. When you want 2 channel stereo for music listening , do you just set speakers to large and all the power goes to the front L and R ?
@hometheatergurus
9 ай бұрын
The amp outputs whatever you feed it. If it has input on the mains then those are the channels that get sound. How you set the xovers and bass management is up to you and done in the processor/AVR. The amp will amplify whatever it's given.

I'm probably picking up Tonewinner's 5 channel model; I don't need more than that, I can drive my front heights off my Marantz. $500 or some such - not as good as this one but the price is hard to beat for 100+ watts per 5 channels.

It's hard to hit that price point and compete with the more expensive options so the AT300 is in a tough spot. As for Aamir, 10000% agree. He's a great guy who's very passionate about what he does and has fantastic customer support.

What processor do you recommend pairing this with?
@hometheatergurus
10 ай бұрын
I use an AVM70 but in reality there's no such thing as an amp that matches best with this or that. That means you're using amps which color the sound which isn't ideal ..well at least for most. You'll adjust the sound of the room using the targets in your room correction.
@five-points
10 ай бұрын
Ah, ok. I guess I was wondering/hoping there was a processor in the same price range as the amp, since the AVM70 is $3400. It seems like there's no processors that aren't just receivers in the $1k - $2k price range. I'm guessing that if that's more my budget, then I may well just do something like the Anthem MRX 1140 for now.

I love Tonewinner; but the "stereo" non single channel modules suffer from crosstalk. Play a test tone on rear surround and you will hear bleed on the speaker attached to same stereo module driving the non LCR modules. Happens with Emotiva, Monolith, Tonewinner any hybrid "stereo" multi module hybrid amplifier like the 9 x or 11 x channel single chassis amplifier. I just dont understand why we dont steer people OSD Nero 5 and 7 x channel single channel module multichannel amplifiers for the non LCR amplifier source. I get it we want 1 chassis. But that will suffer. I own 1 amazing LCR amp and 2 x OSD(s) that don't use stereo modules. The 2 x OSD Nero(s) are wired to their own circuit breaker amp.
