That quit right around the 1970's. After that children started behaving differently. I grew up in the 70's and we respected our parents, our teachers and law enforcement. It changed after that. I remember when Columbine happened and a young teen next door came over to have a chat. He asked me what I thought and I told him that it was wrong for those boys to kill innocent people for their own fame, if that was the correct term. He agreed. I told him that if he ever thought about doing something like that to stop, think about your future and how do you want to spend it, and think about your family and the family of the victims. This young teen was growing up in a family with problems and I wanted him to feel safe to talk with me. I moved shortly after that and I wonder how he turned out. Sometimes a kind word to a young person will make a difference.

So, lock her away and forget the key even if there is a possibility of mental health illnesses? Yeah you're apart of the problem in society if you think those with mental conditions should be locked away forever with no help and in before "you're assuming" coming at me from you, maybe type a longer comment. She did a crime. She should be prosecuted, but she should also get the treatment and help needed to rehabilitate her to be "normal" in a sense. Your original comment is very ignorant, and you will get this rude reply. Sorry, not sorry.

People shaming criminal defense attorneys for doing their jobs, which they are required by law to do is so incredibly ignorant! They’re doing their jobs & working with what they’ve got to do their jobs! People charged with crimes have a constitutional right to legal representation. End of story. Grow TF up & educate yourself before showing your ignorance to the entire world.

Not for one second do I believe that her mom finding out about the vapes was the real motive. We have all been through disappointing our mothers and having to face the consequences, but none of us shot them, even those of us with diagnosed mental health issues. There must be more behind this.

When i got caught smoking at 14, I accepted the fact that I was in trouble and would lose some trust. I didn’t blame my parents. I just got better at hiding it. You should have a healthy fear of disappointing your parents they shouldn’t fear you. I’m 40, live in a legal state to smoke, and still hide it from my parents. I don’t have to but I do.

That evil girl denied the appeal because she believed if she dressed like an innocent child, the jury would be swayed into a light sentence. She is evil personified. She deserves to rot in jail.
