This pour is a fluid bloom/sheleeart technique created on an 8" primed mdf wood square. I used two coats of Gesso to prime the mdf. If I had used a thinner piece of mdf I would have also primed the underneath to prevent any warping.
I have poured X2 free flow (ready to pour from the bottle acrylic paint) mars black base which has been mixed with Pebeo Bindex to thicken it up for the pillow. The colours are very warm earthy tones. Each colour is mixed with a pouring medium which is one tablespoon of Valspar wood and metal V700 gloss interior C base and a couple of drops of Jo Sonya polyurethane gloss. However I did not add the pm to the gold as it tends to dull the metallics so I only added the Jo Sonya. The Cell Activator is 20ml of Aussie Floetrol mixed with 5ml of Amsterdam titanium white.
I will lightly sand the back when dry, then paint black then finish with a coat of art resin to make the colours pop.
See this video on how I mix my pillow paint, pouring medium and cell activator
