43:50 idk why I feel the need to say this, but me and my roommates mutt is named Buck and he's definitely one of those dogs that you'll remember for the rest of your life. Just a real special little guy. Part Pitbull, American bully, husky, and red healer, 65 lbs. Has those type of eyes you'd expect to see on a sentient creature, gold and black and just full of mischief, curiosity and love. When it's daytime those eye's scream I didn't do it" but when it's night they just say "can we cuddle?". I feel like movies like "A Dog's Tale" or whatever were written about dogs like him. He's a miscreant for sure but good lord I've never met such a burly animal that's so sweet and quiet. Barks maybe twice a month, tops. I'm not really the type to rant about an animal like this but I felt the need to as soon as you said his name. Knowing he's gonna be gone in 10 years just makes me appreciate the time we have with him that much more, but it's bittersweet because I doubt I'll ever find a creature this loyal and loving ever again. I'm on a business trip faraway, and I can't help but miss the little guy and anticipate the moment when I walk thru the front doo and surprise him with my return. His names Buck, but I accidentally gave him the second name of Nugget/ Nuggeroo because he looks like a big cuddly burnt chicken nugget. Thanks for reading my sappy post.

In the mid 80s my girlfriend, myself and another couple were out joyriding on the Chesapeake Bay on my 20' Renkin. It was mid September overcast but glassy calm, one of those weird moments you rarely get to see. The couple were facing forward, girlfriend was looking for a cassette to play. As l was taking in the unique view a head with brownish skin, fleshy dorsal ridge and strange eyes rose out of the water facing me. It blinked then submerged. It was so strange and l was the only one who saw it so never mentioned it. A few months ago a letter in one of these channels a guy described a similar encounter in the same place. We have no idea what it was, some type of aquatic cryptid

Hello Darkness Prevails. My name is René. I can't say that I'm a believer, but I'm a big fan of a lot of the supernatural, my favorite creature is Trolls, and I'd like to ask if there could be some more stories about Trolls? I listen to Unexplained Encounters every day at work on Spotify. Sincerely, René

Fishing stories are always a tall tale! Unless you see them catch the fish personally,or they get a good picture of the fish, you can never believe what a fisherman says because we all exaggerate the size of our catch!

There are native american legends of shapeshifting salmons in the Umpqua River that is actually a shaman that protects the region. I don't believe it (I'm a christian, so I believe that, if that umpqua river report is true, the fisherman either caught a unindentified fish, or a devil disguised as a fish in order to make people believe in shamans and stuff), but it's interesting how ancient legends get around.
