@BLEACH01Z before I played ukulele, I played guitar and piano. the chords can feel a little weird at first because of the smaller neck and less tension on the strings, but you'll get used to it in no time at all!

@Ichoos3youpikachu you are welcome! G7 and G major sound a little bit different. A G7 chord is basically a G major chord but the 7th note of a G major scale lowered a half step is added to the chord. If that makes no sense, don't worry about it. It's music theory mumbo-jumbo. :) I would just say make sure you get practice getting comfortable with both chords and you'll be all set.

Are these the same fingerings for a soprano ukulele? It seems like most of them are the same but a couple of those are different from how I play them. (eg. when I play Em I also push down on the 3rd string on the third fret) Anyway, great video! Ukulele's rule!

I'm just learning the Uke. I dl'd chord charts but you play a few different. Such as: You play Em 0402, D 2220, and E 1402. My charts show Em 4432, D 2225 and E 4442. What's the diff of these fingerings and is one better or more "proper" than the other? I play guitar too and I know there's "cheater" chords where you don't play the "full" chord. Are any of these like that or are they just conversions/variations? Would appreciate feedback and great vid btw! : )

That's a good question! There are multiple ways to play the same chord up and down the ukulele fretboard. I tried to pick the easiest variations for this video. If you go to my website and navigate to the chord library you can see multiple variations for each chord to get an idea of all that is possible.

You need to speak up and sound clearer. Eg sometimes your E major sounds like D major when you speak. It would help if you left the chord title up on screen while you demonstrated. E major is easier if done as 4,4,4,2 (frets). With index finger on 2 - bottom string, then middle on top string 4, followed ring and pinkie on other two strings 4,4.
