Your car still looks amazing man. I'm a recent G35 owner here. I didn't even know what a G35 was until I test drove one... Wow... 24 hours later, it came home with me. I have the '08 G35x sedan. Automatic, unfortunately, but it's still one hell of a car so far. Needed the sedan because I've got a wife & kids, but it's very much a sleeper. People see a respectable family sedan when they pull up next to me. Then they can't keep up when the light turns green. :-)

Excellent video. I'm in my mid-50's and I'm a lifelong American V8 / Muscle car guy and never cared for any Japanese cars. A few days ago my brother bought a 2003 G35 coupe , automatic with 198k on it for only 2000.00. The car is in excellent shape. I always thought these cars were nice looking but I never knew how relatively quick they are. I took my brothers car for a test drive yesterday and I had a blast driving it. When the power comes on, it almost feels like the secondaries kicking in on a 4 barrel carb and the exhaust note has just the right tone to it. I'd like to do drive one of the later cars with more power and an M6 transmission. I could definitely see me picking up one of these cars to play with someday. I'm going to subscribe to your channel.

I've got an '06 RevUp at 75k now. It sat for the best part of 3-4 years recently while I was abroad, driven once a month. Had to replace the rear passenger wheel bearing and engine cooling fan motor. Other than that, I've taken good care of it, and it's been dependable for me. I've only had to do fluid and belt changes. That's pretty remarkable considering it's a high performance sports coupe. I'm amazed at how low they're selling for, but that's all the more reason to hold onto them. Might even buy an automatic sedan version for my wife. My next projects are: Paint scratch repair, Windshield chip repair, Front seat repanel. Other than that, it doesn't need any work to look like a new car. Also starting to see corrosion on the underbody. Going to give Fluid Film a try and see how it helps.

In 2006 Infiniti offered a RAS option $750 (Rear Active Steer) its an option not discussed all to often. Not many G35's out there have this. It was technology that wasn't really impressed upon yet. Let's say, ahead of its time. And it was an expensive option. I have the RAS, and without physically getting on the ground to look for the little steering box behind the passenger rear tire ⛔**(some exhausts will not fit on a G with RAS) when you turn key to accessories on, and dashboard cluster lights up, you will see dead center between tach and speedo RAS that goes out once car starts. It only gets active when your above 40mph. Taking a turn at 60mph (normally 40mph), with RAS is just flat out amazing. You want to talk about being planted!!! It feels like the car is literally on rails! I did a few vids explaining briefly what RAS is. I'm going to do a more in depth video on the subject because it really is an amazing option for a car in 2006.

Hey, great video! Couple questions for you: 1) Im a 2nd yr medical student and looking for a Dailey driver (everyday including winter) and I was between 350z and G35. Between these 2 which one would you choose for a dicey car? 2) 350z vs G35 cabin noise, does one have less cabin noise then the other? I don't want to get a headache since I'm planning on Dailey driving it. 3) Can you put a double din stereo like yours in the 2007 stereo setup of the g35 (diff from 2005/2006). 4) Which one would you go for at the age of 25 as a med student who needs to drive and move every 6-8 months between states?

PotholesInMyLawn ...I did a much better video, a buyer's guide to a G35 if you haven't seen it and are wanting a G.....kzitem.info/news/bejne/16WurYiIfISkn2k Yes, I play tennis. The balls are there because I screwed my 800 watt amp to back of the fold down seat and to ensure it doesn't shake and is tight; I put some tennis balls there.

thank you.........no the car has the original paint, I use meguairs m205 polish and collinite 915 wax. The front Nismo bumper and hood have been repainted. When I got the Nismo polyurethane bumper, I also hated rock chips so I wanted a clear bra. Because they do not offer a print out for the Nismo bumper and it is custom, for a clear bra they wanted $1,000 to install. I shit a brick and decided to do it myself, which was way harder than I thought. I bought the $300 in supplies and got XPEL self healing clear bra, the one if you scratch, it heals itself. I removed the front bumper and got to work. Never again, I will pay someone next time. I spent like 6 hours trying to making 1 piece stretch and work. I watched tons of youtube videos, then to come to find out, you are supposed to do separate sheets and seam them together. I did it all with one sheet and the wrinkles I couldn't stretch out, I had to cut out. You can only tell if you get real close to the bumper, but hey its does it job and I do not get rock chips anymore. I hate them.

I Leased this car in 2007 for 2 years when i was 19 years old and it for sure was and still is a great car. I recently leased a 2017 q50 and was instantly reminded why i loved that g35 so much. Definitely one of the best looking cars still on the road from 07

I love the G! I have an 04 5AT unfortunately. But the VERY low mileage when I bought it at 43k miles clean title was so hard to refuse. I'm really thinking about switching the transmission to manual and have a shop do it. Not really wanting to let her go and switch to a higher mileage 6MT

@eamis7792
7 жыл бұрын
thats not a bad price. If its well maintained, has the title, and nothing wrong with it I'd say that's a pretty damn good buy. usually they go for $5k-$9k. Its all on how maintained it is. now if its a standard its more money just cause you get to squeeze out that 300hp and its mostly sought out by car enthusiasts. plus if its got the good trans you wont have to worry about grinding gears like you would in the 03 and 04. But where I live just in my general area I see them go for a minimum of $4k with a salvaged title, may need some body work or other things and can range around 120k miles. Ask the owner what maintenance they've done to it within three years if they can remember. That way you can plan ahead with routine repairs like tune ups serpentine belts, trans fluid, coolant/antifreeze etc.
