Loving the podcast and April vlogs 💛. Happy 18th to Lillia 🎉. Can I suggest the Tittygaga socks by Nancy Wheeler for your remaining Greenlambkin Yarn. It is a fabulous pattern 🌸

I use macrame threads a lot and I always seal any ends wth a quick burst of flame from a lighter. I recommend practiising on an odd bit first till you get the hang of it - it can be very tempting to overdo it!

Heel Toe Do Si Do by The Crazy Sock Lady. Great for speckled yarns. For your bracelet, try using an emery board to smooth out the scratchy part. If start with the rough side, then use the smoother side.

I spent a lovely long weekend at my daughter's in Gloucestershire, celebrating my grandson's 15th birthday on the Saturday and then the Sodbury Yarnover Festival on the Sunday. That was a great festival, the first of many there I hope, over 50 vendors and very well organised, imho. Well worth adding to your calendar for next year. Great podcast as always, thanks Ali x

I always frog colorwork using my swift to the left and Ball winder to the right or two Ball winders if you have, and frog spinning those alternately. The piece will just spin in the middle and you can easily flip it if the yarn is twisted...

Hi Ali, finally getting around to catching up with some videos today. Whenever I make cord style bracelets or anything with ribbon, I use e6000 which is a jewellery glue. I put a dab on the cord just before pulling it tight on the last knot, then put another dab close to the knot, leave 24hrs and then trim off any excess cord. I'm looking forward to making bags in my new craft room once it's all organised. I do have some fabrics stored at work though which I might use to join in with the dodgy bag mal 😊

I love a sock knit. I'm knitting the Daffodil charity socks at the moment. Plus a pair of 'WYS Robin' for my husband. They were train knitting. Then thinking 'no I won't buy any more sock yarn' I went to Northern yarn when I was away with my daughter and bought WYS Rock DK and two skeins of LITLG sock yarn lol! I must make some dodgy bags as I have loads of material and fat quarters. Never enough hours in the day for all these crafts.

No complaints here Ali, I enjoy all of your podcasts. Incatacipated!! I love it and frequently am! One of my favourite sock patterns is Hermiones Everyday Socks. My bags don’t need a pin to tell people how imperfect they are 😂 but they’re good enough for me and each one means something. My favourite is made (modified) from a Glasgow School Of Art tote which burned down, for the second time, days after I’d visited 😢. Take care Ali. Xx

Hi. Just wanted to share a pattern suggestion. Check out Shell Seeker Shawl on Ravelry by Stix Chix. My daughter, niece and I went to Chicago’s Yarncon last weekend and I saw this made up. It has wonderful drape and very clever but still easy to memorize. Mine is aqua marine with a bit of sparkle. The sample pattern example just doesn’t do it justice. Thanks for both of your channels.
