some people dislike the regular, product advertising. I find it mildly annoying but I accept it because JE needs to be able to fund his trips. I find his videos good at story telling. and we fail to appreciate he's climbed the hill, set up the camera, climbed down and then back up again for the footage.😊

I hope people realise the amount of effort you must put into these vids, having to manage multiple cameras and tripods on top of your hunting gear. Massive props to ya mate. Also love the outro where you answer a few questions. Great idea. Might have to steel that one for my channel haha. Looking forward to the next one mate 🤙🏼

Hey mate. Starting watching your videos about a year ago! Honestly can’t say how much I enjoy your videos. The quality of your filming is second to none, and the behind the scenes editing you do is out the gate! I love seeing your South Island hunting stuff as I grew up in Rakaia so for me it brings back memories. One thing I’d love to see you go more into is the ammo you’re using and how you find it and also if you change your ammo or if you consistently choose the same brands etc. Cheers and keep up the quality hunts!

Nice vid mate and good chat at the end. For KZitem administration if they watch or read this.....hunting and harvesting of wild game is natural and not offensive, what would be offensive is to shoot a perfectly fine animal and leave it to decompose. Shooting an animal as such and butchering it for meat for our families is natural and I for one think it's ok for content showing how best to harvest that meat should be acceptable. Speech over, keep up the good work Joe. I bought the same binos a few months ago...love em 😊.

Cool wee critters Chamois. Had an interesting encounter with one during the last roar where it was following our path. We stopped around a corner amongst some rocks not knowing it was behind us. Put up a hind and a spiker below us that bolted. Turned to see this chamois round the corner and freak, paused for a second and bolted also. It was only about 10 yards away. Amazing how they are so inquisitive and elusive at the same time.

Fantastic JE, as an ex South Canterbury boy It take me back 50 years tramping over the high country chasing Deer, Chamois & Thar with the old Parker Hale .303. # 4 MKI. No range finders in those days, just educated guesses & Misses. LOl 👍👍as for butchering, check out "Jack out the back" WA. They show lots of dicing up camels, back straps & legs. Pretty sure raw meat is ok as long as there's not lots of blood.

MSR is usually a pretty solid company. They’ve had a few misses over the years, like one of their tents had leaking problems a few years ago, but generally they’re really good. I just got a 10L gravity water filter that is just great. Tried a couple others, but this is way better. Just if you ever get one buy a charcoal pre filter. As for a trip the the US, dude, they all come up here to canada to hunt. Far north, low north, east west, they all got their different sorts. Some people have had private videos with a link on your video to get past the censorship. Maybe that doesn’t work now?
