About 20 years ago I wandered into the Green Mill cause my wife was shopping across the street. I wanted a drink. At that time, it just looked like any other bar in town. When I started talking to the bartender he told me about the Mill's history and pointed out Al Capone's favorite booth. I guess its been just "up hill" from that time?

I used to enjoy going to the Mill in the 1960's.

The Green Mill isn't a brand.....It's a landmark and a living Museum. My Great Grandmother and her sister used to hang out there in the 1920's. They have passed away so I can't go to their homes any longer, but there is always this Jazz club they loved so much. It should never die.

everything is a brand. you are a brand. and all brands die eventually. for better or for worse. great place with smokin players though.
