So I ended up paying an insane amount (along with my mom) so that my mother and my little sister could go stay in an AIRBNB 2 hours away from me and my apartment. And I will find a girl and we will have offspring. And we and whomever else survives will rebuild this world, hopefully better than it was before. Because, right now, we are doomed to go extinct. I do believe in natural selection and this planet needs to purge itself of A LOT of idiots that are destroying or not adding anything positive with their existence. Too many people sucking resources like they are limitless and leaving a huge footprint not caring about repercussions. The government has stepped in and made it too easy for the stupid, unproductive or just criminal people to exist, where before they would have been eliminated. Survival of the fittest or to me, the good and decent hardworking people and the others as would be in days gone by would perish. Truly people should be limited on offspring and not allowed to use them as paychecks and expect society to care for and raise them. Mandatory birth control, if you can’t show that you can’t care for them financially or put forth the energy and raise them to be contributing members of society. No free food, free money, free housing, free medical and they will think twice

IF you can't afford a portable camping potty, which is short and uncomfortable to sit on, you can buy a large plastic bowl from Dollar Tree, place a cup of water in it and place it under your toilet seat then put the seat down. It fits perfectly. Or buy a toilet "hat" from a pharmacy, i.e. Walgreens, or a medical supply store, for $6.00. I bought a used 50-gallon plastic drum for $20 to discard the poop. You can use a wide mouth canning funnel to dump the poop into the drum. Pee can be disposed of in your yard or plastic bottles.

At any tractor supply you can buy the “Pine. wood pellets” kiln dried. It’s $6-$7 for a 40lb bag and use it as cat litter. You may want to try getting your kitty used to it before shtf. One bag can last 6 months. And for that price it’s an easy to stock up item. Just store it in a dry place. As kitty pees on it the pellets turn to saw dust that they also use to cover other messes they make in the litter box.

I'm from the UK and me and partner stocked up 2 weeks before the lock down happened because we forseen what would happen, got at least 2 months of food, but alot of people just bought stuff like pasta and rice but forgot about protein... And also yeah like you talked about, animal food.. We bought at least 6 weeks worth of wet food and 5kg of dry, people focused on themselves rather than their pets, plus the things that were always in stock and people would stick their noses up at were going out of stock which was annoying because it was alot of the things I eat

One thing people seem to overlook (and I did until I saw it on another prepper channel) is a fondue pot (not electric, duh). You can warm up soup or milk for hot chocolate. Won't boil water, but it does heat up soups. Keep a boatload of tea candles or sterno fuel pods handy.

This coronavirus pandemic is super "fun" for me, because I've got severe allergies that produce nearly identical symptoms to the stated ones of coronavirus, which have chosen now of all times to act up. So I get to added "enjoyment" of spending weeks on end with varying degrees of coronavirus-like symptoms, constantly tense as to whether I might've actually caught it.

Try "Tapping". (Googe it or find it here, on KZitem). It alleviates allergies and their symptoms, and directly calms your amygdala ('flight or flight' response; karate chop point), giving you a more objective and a clearer perspective of what your allergies are (less serious) vs the Corona virus, if/when it strikes you (most serious). Best of all... The "liver point" actually stimulates your immune system, directly, to become more active, helping your body to stop any viruses and the like, dead in their tracks.

Oddly enough, about 6 months ago is started putting a bit more food into the pantry mainly for economic hard times, i figured that so long as i can pay the mortgage and keep the power on if things got rough for a month or so i would get by. been on a few prepper type channels and also the gardening and wilderness cabin type channels. as an Australian living close to a fair sized regional center i though would be immune the the chaos and mayhem. watching folks line up to clean out the bucher's shop next to work for 3 day straight has been educational and not in a good way. i am understanding that yeap i have some gaps that will need addressing. the main one being TP, being single makes things much easier, i have a month of canned, long life and frozen food. and a small veggie garden that will soon expand i am thinking

@@graceb2ubonilla398 I believe you use 70% iso and 30% water, and just put a tiny bit of glycerine in. The glycerine's basically just to keep your hands from drying out too much. Also this formulation is more watery than most storebought sanitisers. EEVBlog has a video on it, search up "EEVBlog hand sanitiser" and watch that. I do need to reiterate that this, like all hand sanitisers should be, is only for when washing your hands is impossible or impractical.
