i think Chris is the only guy who can actually ride a 1290 the way it was fully intended to be ridden. Keep up the killer vids Chris!

Because of his vids and mad TV, Adam Riemann and mototrek I switch from buying a chopper to a ktm 790 adventure r. I had offraod lessons last year. Man that's so much better than just street cruising.

The 1290/1090 platforms are very friendly to this type of terrain, you just need to nail your technique and be physically fit to handle her weight... riding off road is physically taxing but doable. These bikes are flat out amazing.

I wonder how tall Chris is, I’m a short guy (1,70) but really want a 1290, I guess will be to tall and heavy for me, want to upgrade my old and reliable 640.

LOVE my 1290, when I 1st got it I took it down a whooped out trail that I had previously only taken my YZ250X down. When I was able to pass through the whoops at a very close speed to the dirtbike I knew I bought the right bike. Excellent job KTM.

some great riding. took my 1290 out today and it blows my mind how capable it is. as long as its moving >5mph it just feels like a damn dirtbike. good tires is all thats needed. Im actually blown away how good the stock suspension is too. no deflecting at high speeds and soaks up a shit load. Its legit the perfect bike

These KTMs are massively underrated they are brilliant machines, I have both a GSA and a KTM and the only thing that puts the BMW ahead in the UK is the dealer network, I had my KTM from a dealer in Bristol, there customer service is dreadful both in sales and after sales BMW couldn't be anymore helpful if you have a problem but the KTM bikes are spot on.
