O'Keeffe's Working Hands for cracked fingers from outdoor working. I live by the stuff. They also have for lips, feet, and various other places, including a full skin lotion (though I've not used the last personally). You will find none better. Not only does it heal and protect, but the hand paste doesn't leave your hands greasy, so you don't lose a grip while working with tools (like an axe). Toilet paper. I have boxes and boxes of it stored. If I have to Bug Out, I will only be able to take a little, but if Bugging In, I'll be set for a good long while. While you can bidet, and use washcloths, TP is one of the things most of us (including me) are spoiled with. The longer you can have it, the happier you will be. For the heated shower: I have a small rocket stove made out of round pipe that I wrapped copper line around with hose attachments at both ends. You run an inlet to the bottom of the coil and an outlet to the top and transfer the water to/from the same container to heat it. Draw water from the bottom of the container as this will be the colder water. I can heat a 5 gal bucket up to 102 F in 5-10 minutes. I use this camping using a Jerry can rigged with a shower nozzle. A muscle relaxer like Flexal, or Bengay. Even if you're fit and homesteading like I do, a SHTF survival will be a whole new level. You're going to be sore and tired for weeks until you get used to the new routine. While I use a straight razor with just water, most men that shave would probably like some shaving cream. Get the powered form that you mix with water. A can of that will last years. For the ladies, I recommend the same as above to have some shaving cream for areas other than your face. As well as the most comfortable bras you can get. Be that sprots bras, supportive, etc (Sorry, I'm not much of a help on that one, lol). Before all of it, pack as much feminine hygiene products as you can. If you have pets, pack away a few containers of their favorite treats, and don't forget their favorite toys. We tend to think of this with our human kids, but our four legged ones need to be remembered as well.

Mosquito net. I badly needed one last weekend. I had a bug spray, but it wasn't enough. Cheers!

Yeah it’s funny how some people in my instagram and tiktok comments try to tell me them insect repellent and mosquito nets are unnecessary. I’m convinced these people have never spent even a day outdoors.

@@shahzadmkayani You're right! I know some guys that have bought 200-400€ backpacks for SHTF (stuff not included in the price) and with the "tons" of "posh" equipment that they have never tested (walkie-talkies, GPS, cooking stuff, 200 € knifes etc.)! They even have not put those backpacks on and have walked at least 100 meters wearing them! Plus, they are all seriously out of shape (and that's deadly). In one argumentative discussion with my close friends (smart guys, almost all engineers, and some former military personnel with brains), we concluded that 50% of humanity (especially those in urban areas) will die in 90 years after a serious SHTF event (i.e., EMP). So, let's pray that somehow this won't happen. Cheers!

We stocked up on baby wipes. We have a toddler potty training so they rotate fairly quickly, but they're useful for so many other thing like wiping down your body and face for a quick clean.

Very true, if it’s a situation where you can’t shower because you want to preserve your water then baby wipes can be used to clean yourself too.

I like to buy canned whole meats and roasted aubergine and pepper paste from the Eastern European supermarket. They also do great plum jams to add to rice pudding or porridge and canned longlife cakes

What about something for entertainment? A book, cards, or a small board game.

@shahzadmkayani I'm getting new 12v pumps on Friday, my pumps have been working 24/7 for 6 years, one of them is still working perfectly, this is how running water is done in bunkers, low power highly efficient pumping systems...and anyone can do it.
