@shaan5584
4 жыл бұрын
@@Marco-mw9ky Yea they belonged to different language groups, however there are so many other reasons why the Korean language was influenced by Tamil. 1) There is the historical journey of Bodhidharma, the monk believed to be from South India who spread Buddhism to China and Korea, that could've been one way Tamil was spread. 2) According to popular legend, Heo Hwang-ok, a princess from the distant land of Ayuta, came by boat to Gaya, with her national symbol twin fish. She then married King Suro and became the first queen of the Gaya kingdom. And she was from Tamil Nadu, in particular Pandyan or Aai kingdom. Researchers actually conducted genetic studies on the remains of her tomb revealing genetic similarities between Indians and Koreans. 3) Trade between Korea and India (Tamil Nadu, specifically) was booming! there's a possibility the korean and indian traders conversed with one another and picked up a few things!

as a latina learning my 5th language, i would love to see a video where you talk about advice for travelling/living around the world when you are both a woman and a person of color! i've found that many polyglots that travel a lot and have immersive experiences are men so couch surfing and hostels are not a big concern, and many people are also white, so they are less likely to face discrimination

Would also loove a video on how to maintain languages after you've learned them! 🤗💕 where/how do you fit that into your daily life and schedule. Thanks!!

how to maintain the languages you have learned? well, make them part of your life like doing stuff with them (reading an article, listening to a podcast, watching a movie, doing your homework in that language, and so on) because either you use it or lose it (well not losing it at all, but you'll get rusty if you don't use the language)

QUESTION! How did you find the time to learn all those languages? I'm not asking generally, but things like how do you actually fit them all in your everyday schedule. A video on how your schedules were (approximately ofc). I'm super messy and def need some straightforward plan 😅😭 💕💕💕

Hi! Hope all's well with you. I'm portuguese. I think you were absolutely correct in your choice of flag, since brazilian portuguese is diverging significantly from the original european portuguese. Don't know where you are presently, but you could consider visiting portugal. Your spanish together with your italian should make it easy for you to understand people and make yourself understood. We also have an important brazilian community here. Might be interesting to explore.😊

Did it take you a different amount of time to learn each language? it's said it takes 1000 hours to learn a language related to your mother tounge and 3000 hours for a language of a different language family. How was it in your case? i suppose spanish went quicker than korean?

Very interesting video! Honestly, this is so inspiring! Thank you very much💕🌸 I’m 19 years old and have the urge to learn a lot of languages😊 German is my native language, obviously I’m able to speak English and I’m currently learning Spanish🇩🇪🇺🇸🇲🇽 But after that.... the list is long😂 There’s something that is really intriguing to me about sign language🤟🏽 I would also love to learn Chinese, Korean, French, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Kazakh and Vietnamese (not necessarily in this order😄) I’m sure I won’t be able to learn all the beautiful languages I just listed but I would be more than happy if I can speak five or six languages on a fluent level... This year, 2020 is 100% dedicated to Spanish and after that I’ll begin learning sign language😊 I’m exited for what the future holds^^ To everyone reading this: Hope you have a nice day💕 Ich wünsche euch allen einen wunderschönen Tag☀️ Que te vaya bien🌈 🤟🏽

What is your best advice for learning languages when it comes to vocabulary and grammar?
@ichbinhier355
4 жыл бұрын
learn the vocabulary that is relevant to you, I mean the one you'll use in your daily basis, like hobbies. wanna increase your vocabulary? so you should read more, I recommend you to use techniques such as intensive and extensive reading (always by reading things you enjoy) grammar: don't study grammar if you're a beginner/ intermediate instead focus on learning phrases. like: I am with you you are not here I'll have a car and so on

You're clearly a inspiration for all the teenages and adults out there, it's really interesting how you can speak 12 idioms, don't you get tired? That's my curiosity. Also, your Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation is amazing, as a Brazilian I guess I can say that. Keep doing that!

Só uma pequena dica, "idioma ( idiom) " em inglês, não tem o mesmo significado que em português. A palavra mais adequada seria "languages" .

What I'd really love to see you speak about is how you would approach language learning, like a step-by-step process or particular objective depending upon certain time frames. I'm sure that's what any avid language learner is most interested in.
