Computer science (CS) is one of the most sought-after fields of study and one of the most competitive too (acceptance rates at leading programs are usually 10-15%, and can be as low as 2%!). Over 90% of prospective master’s students that approach me want to pursue a master’s in computer science or one of its sub-domains at a highly-reputed university in the US.
In this week’s episode (divided into two parts) on #afterthemaster, Roshan discusses how competitive CS admissions and securing employment can be, especially for international students. He further talks about nearly securing an internship at a massive #tech company and the attitude he developed, which helped him tremendously later. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (a top 30 program in North America)!
