Good Lord! Your sound is tremendous and your teaching style is just right for the intermediate and even Pro level folks that could use some spice. Any chance of finding out what you are playing through? Pedals, which pickup, amp, etc. I can't even find your name unless you mentioned it and I missed it. Was going to see if you had a Premier Guitar Mag Gear set-up.Thanks. Your tone is like Clapton in Cream when he used Gibsons! My compliments.

what string gauge are you using? thinner strings i find to be more playable, but the way Slash plays he's kinda battling with the strings, they're "biting back" as i think he referred to it. I think it's a very overlooked aspect of his tone, it's not effortless for slash because he's putting so much energy behind the picking and bending thick strings which is why i htink he gets tha treally ballsy thick tone.

Really enjoy all your videos man! I love these lessons because you can really incorporate these skills into your own playing. This is sort of off topic, but how do you get your playing to be so clean? I keep trying a variety of muting techniques and I seem to still mess up especially moving downward.

Question, not an insult, is there a mistake in the tab on the first lick? You have 11-10 -11-10 but you only play 11-10 once. I've rewound this a dozen times and I'm not seeing it played twice. Thanks!

That's because a real guitarist only cares about if its comfortable to play to them and sounds good. I had a 700 Epiphone that played better than a 3,500 Gibson. After a while you get tired of fucking with shit and just go buy a Fender product.

Even though Slash has THE epitome of the les Paul tone, he used a stray in appetite for destruction and didn’t start playing les Pauls until after the album was recorded.
