If you love hutspot and such, I have a recipe for you: Hete Bliksem (family recipe) 1 kg aardappels (there are many kinds, note the ones that are specifically for mashing, but you can have sturdier ones if you prefer as well) 1 kg appels (they have to be soft, the hard green ones to eat as snack are not that good for this, but still can be used, though. The best are the zure zachte species. Kaneel is een must.

Plenty in common, Both countries fought against the Spanish to win independence. The Philippines is called after the Spanish emperor the Dutch fought against. Both people speak English well as second language. Filipinos are excellent seamen the Dutch had the same reputation. Kinilaw is the Filipino raw fish recipe they were surprised I actually liked it. Suspect they won't have much of a problem with the herring.

@@liezinholland2671 Adobo is a stew if I am correct like Pork Adobo or Chicken Adobo. The Netherlands in its first century of independence had more in common with crime syndicates than a proper country. The Brothers De Witt murdered and subsequently skinned Johan van Oldenbarnevelt decapitated. These were the people who were the key of the Golden Age of the 17th Century. At present the Philippines is not perfect but in its first century of independence it is more humane than the Dutch were.

Good video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
