Thank You Betty. USB is 5 volts (less power) I have seen and played with USB fans. They can be useful but I have not seen any that come anywhere close to this size and power to move air. I would take a USB fan over nothing but a larger fan if possible. We have many choices to choose from. Good luck finding what works best for you! Thanks for watching =Cosmo

This review video is wonderful! Have you ever looked into golf cart rechargeable fans? I have one my sister gave me for my birthday 3 years ago and it's mind blowing. I use it everyday and take it everywhere. I can run it on medium for about 10 hours before it dies. I would love to see a few different models tested out. Maybe I can get an even better one! Anyways, happy camping Cosmo 💞🤗💞

Great review, Cosmo. You hit all the important points. I love my Boundless Breeze and it was such a good price compared to the Fantastic Fan. I can't believe how high they jacked up their price over the summer! The BB has wonderful air movement, even on low. I'm so glad this model is available as an alternative to the FF. Thank you! 🕊😘

You can run A/C off of a battery bank. you just need to have an enormous amount of storage to be able to do that overnight. Couple thousand watts of solar panels running through a big enough charge controller will run AC during the day, if you want your batteries charged also, lol I believe you see where I’m going with this. You would need a rather large as in at least 100 amp charge controller and enough solar panels to power it.

Both of the fans I reviewed provide much more air movement than the roof fan. The roof fan draws cool air in but does not circulate the way the reviewed fans do, The combination of the roof fan bringing in air and the other fan circulating it is the best. Thanks for watching =Cosmo

Good information. I camp with tent and I am addicted to the white noise of a fan. I have two in my room at home. So lately when I'm camping I am using a fan sound simulator app on my phone which works pretty good but an actual fan would be good. Will have to get jackery first though I guess. Thanks.

Thanks Karen.I agree. I have used AC fans to try them out and they work very well. There is a small amount of overhead for the inverter to turn 12V DC into 120AC. For a weekend or a single vacation it makes perfect sense. Why buy when you already have. I mentioned AC fans at the end of my video but most people never make it that far. Suggestions are always welcome. Regards =Cosmo

@@CosmoWeems how long would you say a DC fan would run off a 400 watt JACKERY type power station? Do you think I could get through a night with a DC fan and then recharge during the day? Edit: meant to AC fan. I checked the specs of a Lasko brand AC fan I sleep with and on high it’s at 60 watts. I’m thinking a middle of the road 300-400 watt Jackery might last 4-5 hours with a 60 watt fan.
@CosmoWeems
2 жыл бұрын
Hi LG depends how many hours the night is. Assuming its a 12V fan at 60 watts divide the Jackery capacity by the fan watts. 400 / 60 = about 6 hours. I would want a comfort margin too. As the batteries age they loose a bit of performance. My trailer is so small I rarely run the fan on full power. If the fan is AC deduct about 10 to 20% of full capacity for the inverter. Hello Cosmo Weems, I really enjoy your videos and I've made a few purchases based on your reviews. Hi Jim. I am not clear what you are trying to do. Are you trying to pump more power into the Jackery (for instance with a solar panel)? Or are you trying to draw power out of the Jackery and want an additional 12V socket? Please try again and I will see if I can help.=Cosmo
