Wow, what a fantastic video! I was thoroughly impressed by the diverse selection of wines from Campania. The way you highlighted the unique characteristics of each wine and the region's rich viticultural history was truly enlightening. Loved the spotlight on lesser-known regions and varietals, offering great ideas for expanding my wine horizons. Your passion and expertise really shone through, making this not just an informative experience but an inspiring one as well. Thank you so much for this outstanding content. It's clear that a lot of thought and effort went into curating such a comprehensive overview. I can't wait to explore these wines and discover new favorites. Keep up the amazing work, and I'll definitely be on the lookout for more of your recommendations.

Great review. I spent a wonderful summer in Ravello on the Amalfi coast in 1980. I was too young to be drinking wine, alas, but we not bothered by the hoards of tourists that visit these days. I remember being taken out to sea in a rowing boat and swimming in beautiful blue water. I loved the fish and seafood and the Mediterranean culture has stayed with me to this day. Jump forward a few decades and I have a small holiday home 2 km from the Med in the south of Spain and I still go swimming. These days I can enjoy some wine afterwards. 😁

Great video. I have been enthused about Campania wines for sometime and for price, drinkability and variety it is hard to beat Campania and southern Italy in general. This was an impressive line up of terroirs, varietals and wines. It's not everyday that you learn about new cultivars that you can't even find on wine-searcher, ha. It was very cool that they have established Irpinia Campi Taurasini, sound plan from a branding/marketing and development point of view. Let's hope that these wines stay of the mainstream radar and remain affordable and accessible. Cheers!

I’ve had a Greco di Tufo and a Coda di Volpe for whites (both super interesting wines!) and also a Falanghina (extra yum!) and a couple of Fianos. Not reds yet, will need to put them and the rosés on my list! This was a super cool tasting.

Aglianico! You can have your Nebbiolos and (sorry Matthew) Sangioveses, my most memorable Italian reds have been aglianicos. Recently had a blind tasting of Taurasi and Vulture. 16 wines. The Vulture quality was right up with Taurasi. Tho my number three was a ringer: 2018 Unti Aglianico from Dry Creek Valley! Aglianico just has a more satisfying texture than Nebbiolo, for my tastes

I like Campanian white wines from Terredora (latest vintage of Falanghina is very tasty) and few year ago i had at home wines from I Capitani. Taurasi was super and I really enjoyed their Eme wine (cuvee of Aglianico and Merlot, Cabernet, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, etc. ). i think also that their red wines were better than whites. Thanks Matthew
