Because its more an Ulster Protestant and Unionist thing. They do exist in England just not as big in comparison to the population

I'm English but I know Ireland. The answer is that English people don't know the history and it isn't contentious. William of Orange was made the English king too but his takeover was complete and accepted by nearly all the people who mattered. The general population were not catnolic so there is no unfinished business or need to emphasise things by marches and shows of strength.. In Ireland King Billy was victorious but the Catholics remained, out of power but still there. The English rulers didn't force them to become protestant like they did to their own people a while before that. They left them as they were but kept them out of influence. I dont know why they didn't or couldn't force them to become protestant.
