Nice ideas, nicely presented. Really like the fact you listed these in the description area, as well. Nice and concise, without sacrificing the friendly, chatty feel. I'm really glad to know that you planned to deal with the focus issues. That was my only real technical criticism. I do think your productions would eventually benefit from a second camera and varied points of view--especially since you seem to already have learned to edit video. A second camera (or shooting each video twice, from two different vantage points) would let you avoid jump-cuts when you need to trim something out. Plus, it would help heighten & sustain visual interest. I only make these suggestions because you've done such a great job, using the limited setup in this video, and you seem to actually care about getting it right. The lower-third titles, and the correction/annotations (thank you for bothering) are quite nicely and unobtrusively done, for example. I hope you'll continue learning the technical side of video, bit-by-bit, as well as continuing with the fine creative ideas for art journaling. You clearly have a great eye for both!

I also pick up tags from clothes that I buy. Plus old playing cards, wrapping paper scraps, tissue paper from purchases, old mail or junk mail, anything I pick up anywhere really....Beautiful

I live around a lot of thrift and antique stores...full of books of all sorts - at really cheap prices! How great is that! Our local library also unloads a lot of outdates books at unbelieveable prices - ie, $1 for a bagfull! Great ideas... just about anything goes. My mother is from Germany...and left me all her old german articles, and childrens books - so I'm going to be busy. Thanks for the reminder - I have a real treasure trove.

Good tips in here. I like your title. You could also use vintage stamps, music sheet paper, old ledgers etc, I'm sure there's heaps more. I really enjoyed this video, I'm a new subbie to your channel. TFS

😯 Shock, horror!! Aren't vintage sewing patterns worth something? I know they're really expensive to buy. Oh, how about old atlas pages? Maps go out of date before they go to print, so who uses them now?

I got heaps of old patterns at second hand stores. I'm sure if the actual pattern was intact it would be worth something, but usually they're cut up and used with maybe bits missing so they cost barely anything.
