Hey! Follower from Turkey here. Kale is a fairly widespread domestic lock maker here. They have all sorts of products with an array of different keyways, and their blank keys are most commonly used by locksmiths. My likely explanation for it is that the original keys to this lock is somehow lost here in Turkey. New keys were fashioned from the similarly shaped Kale blanks but they were a bit taller than the keyway, therefore filed down to fit the lock.

I got into picking locks after watching the T.V. series "Remington Steele" I thought WOW that is so cool. Mr. Steele can pick that lock so fast. Now KZitem wasn't a thing back in those days so getting educated about things like this was very difficult. My first pick I made was from Steel strapping (Used to tie items to pallets for shipping). It was a sweep style pick (the one that looks like a saw) and off to work I went. I was amazed at how frigg'n easy it was to open doors with it. WOW a couple of sweeps and "POP" the lock would turn. Padlocks were more difficult but with patience I was able to open them. I enjoy the challenge. Now after watching the LPL do his thing I have since ordered a kit that will allow me to expand on this hobby of mine. For me the enjoyment is beating the device and not getting to the items it is protecting. I am not 100% sure but carrying lock picks on your person and NOT being a LockSmith may be illegal. Check local laws before venturing out with your buddies.

The pins are planned to be fully magnetic with a protective flexible layer to avoid any way to access the lock by wiggling or applying pressure... Princess Buttercup to Wesley as the key falls into the Chasity belt: "It's a perfect fit". Sheriff of Rottingham to everyone: "It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it!".---The Princess Bride.

I love when there is nothing on "three". I also quite like videos with a click out of "one", tbh. Fave is "click out of four", omg . amazing! ;))))))

It’s usually poor “five” that gets glossed over. Like the unwanted accident child after dad had a vasectomy and mom had her tubes tied. They just kinda grow up wild and feral.

All locks tell me a story, and that story is "This lock won't stop LPL".

Interesting story, amazing LPL knowledge about lock manufacturers, insultingly fast picking and saucy comment. Awesome video 10/10 would watch again!

Honestly a bit surprised he went for single-pin picking. Based on the description I would have assumed it to be susceptible to raking attack

I can only imagine how large the LPL's lock collection is. I'm envisioning a large, dark and dusty room with shelves jammed with locks, locks in boxes, and keys in every direction. And empty scotch bottles mixed in for good measure.
