This video is every dive instructors worst nightmare seeing these Bafoons dive. 130 feet, one guy takes out his regulator to kiss his boyfriend, really? The girl just about loses her air tank, and six of you flail around in the sand. Oh, and let’s blow bubble kisses at each other.

You can descend around 75 ft per minute but must not ascent faster than 30 ft per minute
@JanHDD
6 ай бұрын
Yeah you're thinking about the ascent. You can theoretically descend as fast as you can equalize your ears so shouldn't be a problem descending fast or even faster. Keep in mind on super technical dives like Dave shaw in bushmans or Richard Harris in zpearse resurgence they were going to 900ft in just 10 mins. On the ascent though in addition to the 30ft/min rule, you also need to factor in safety stops and at those depths guaranteed deco stops which you can think of as mandatory safety stops spread out at different depths for different lengths of time

I'm curious, do you dive? Because if you do, you don't need to be an expert to know that their buoyancy is abysmal. Having buoyancy control that poor at 130 feet is really, really dangerous. It's been 7 years since this was posted apparently. I really hope all parties involved have gotten better. We all make mistakes, learning from them is what's important. Deeper dives can be extremely fun, but they're only fun if everyone goes home.

@@toms7947 They were being critical for a reason - to let unskilled divers who would want to copy know that it is a dangerous adventure. Diving is fun, but things can and do go wrong. The goal is to dive safely and return to the surface alive and well. Hopefully, the divers in the video have now had years of dive experience and look back at this video and realize their mistakes.
