I think we all need to experience leaving a high position , oh it will really help u experience who is really in yo corner. Sadly it will make you question people and their motives towards u , its a very tough lesson , that most people hang arround us for what they can get from us when it is no more many of them will literally dissappear . Truly sad very few will stick with u, but we learn become stronger and move on . I love that He acknowledges that He needed to lean on God to come through and keep going. And that spice fm show is deep I listened to small clip and was sold.

Thank you Richard A-Star! This one was a long time coming and boy did Jimmi G takes us through a journey (albeit very condensed)? For what its worth, just by being on this platform he's already reinventing himself and though battered and wounded, the stronger for the remaining phase of life's journey. They should have him in the media classes in higher learning institutions to understand how to pivot from one medium to another like Jimmi G did. Perhaps he should also start a podcast, I'm sure his story-telling skills will come in handy. I've followed your journey from way back and you remain a role model to many, myself included...thanks again for the tough and candid conversations...to summarize this “In order to rise , from its own ashes, a phoenix first must burn.” - Octavia E. Richie, I have watched. We grew up with Jimmi in our faces and our ears but I didn't realize until this interview, how profound his work has been in steering media in this country. The impact of it, no one can ever take that away from him. He is indeed an archive and a phenomenal talent. If there's anything I am learning in life is that we should stick with God from day 1, his way is much easier. But there's also a deeper appreciation and beauty in having to find yourself and getting to see yourself the way God sees you after walking in the mirk and mire that's this world. All the best Jimmi.
